Compared to the rest of the world, yeah. Even if you go to the “safest” countries in the world like sweden, hate groups are more prevelent there than here and minorities are treated way worse by the average person. You will 1000% be looked at as inferior there.

I 'am part Native American and I have heard a lot of native languages. I think the Mongolian language is very interesting. There ladies are very beautiful. I for one was brought up that all people are the same we are all the human race, and we should all respect each other no matter what language we speak. I am a 71 year old American woman. I dearly love my country, but we are a bit of a mess right now. Most of what I know about Mongolia, I’ve learned from my beautiful, smart, sweet daughter in law. I just found your channel today and have learned so much about Mongolia from your videos. Im an American and have always been fascinated about Mongolian ancient history. Mighty warriors. But sadly know very little about modern day life there. Mostly i knew Mongolians excell at Judo. From your videos, especially the interview type ,where you hear the beautiful language you have. Reminds me of native American languages but looks alot like Russian letters. I also think ,Mongolians look very much like native Americans, the face structure and skin tone. Such a beautiful combination. Please continue making these informative video's, showcasing your wonderful country. Im glad the people in this video had a favorable impression of the usa. Id like to tell them to also visit the other parts of our country as well as ny and la. I live in Louisiana and have beautiful scenery and delicious food. @@chhetdaracheat5397 nah, man it is not true. In fact, we consider our country as a sunny place. Well, maybe it could be cold but compared to European countries and rainy places. Even if it is cold day there will be sun. And ppl having clear skin is just not true at all. In fact, it is really dry in Mongolia. Having clear and healthy skin would take some effort. Also, i think getting enough sun exposure has nothing to do with clear skin ( acne and stuff not freckles). Also during summer a lot of ppl goes out to travel/vacation to countryside and that’s where we could get really tanned. I think in Mongolia there is no beauty standards like other asian countries like having lighter skin tone. And ppl loves to go out and get tan cause it means that u won’t get cold during winter. But also a lot ppl who lives at countryside doesn’t really have good education on sunburns and skin cancer. So most of the ppl who lives in countryside has really red cheeks and darker skin tone due to their living environment. Of course it is not the case for everyone.

On humans and differences discussed in this video: we're obviously not "all the same". There is signigicant variation between countries and races. However, that doesn't mean there should be no respect. Just common decency and respect for each other is fine - and there is no need to politicize the matter or brainwash people that differences don't exist.

I grew up in SoCal, lived many years in the PacNWest, visited the South and Midwest often as my extended family lived there, and am currently living in Virginia. I've been around enough to know. TD commented on an attack in the US recently on an Asian woman in New York. There have also been recent attacks on caucasians, blacks, and Hispanics. This dreadful behavior is not always racial in nature, but rather a result of the pathetic leadership, both nationally, at the state and local levels. We have places where criminal charges won’t be filed unless the crimes are horrific in nature. Criminals know this and take advantage of these situations. I can’t tell you why other people have bias towards any other race. I’ve lived all over the US, several places in Asia, and also in Europe. People I’ve met have always been welcoming, smart, hard working and likable regardless of which country they call home. As I said in an earlier comment, branding all Americans as racist is simplistic and simply untrue. TD, I’m curious as to why you told me to respect my Mongolian daughter in law. She’s my son’s wife. She’s smart, she’s beautiful, she’s educated, she’s a hard worker. I love her as if she were my own daughter. I can’t figure out why you would infer that I could possibly not respect her.

I would say the one girl who believes all Americans think all Asians are Chinese may be a bit off the mark. The average American who has never travelled outside U.S. Borders have only encountered Asians that have emigrated to or grew up in the states. Most people like me have traveled in the Far East and met Asians from different nations, Korea, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia etc. I also would hope they don't base their impressions of the U.S. entirely from our big cities and movies. To truly understand people is get out among them do videos like this. The U.S. also has wide open plains, mountains, desert and forests and plenty of beach. And yes, we definitely can learn things from one another.

Racism rare in Mongolia? Have you asked them about what they think of Chinese or even the Mongols living in Inner Mongolia? Maybe today's young Mongolians are different to those I have seen and met personally two decades ago. Interestingly, this video made me realize some of these Mongolians envision that only WHITE Americans can be racist and many Mongolians have no clue what the Black Lives Matter group actually believes in. The population of Mongolia is about 3.6 million. That is only about 1/6th of the population of the greater New York City metro area [[ including Northern New Jersey ]] Mongolia is 95 + % Mongolian. The only other racial group of any size at all are the Turks, at about 4.5%. It would seem they have no real basis for a comparison or declaration about racial issues in the U.S.

@08:34 mark she hit the nail right on the head. I wish it weren’t that simple but for a lot of white people it really is about “white fright”. White people have been apex of racial status for so long many are afraid to let other races have a chance. they think if they do allow other races opportunity, whites think it will somehow lower white communities or that other races will just take advantage or somehow infringe upon the rights of white people. I know this because I used to be racist myself. I am mostly over it but there are still times, however few and far between, that I think in certain scenarios some may take advantage but I tend to judge more on a case by case basis instead of just blanket generalization. So I am making progress. I am actively trying and sometimes I catch myself thinking something and I say to myself “no, that’s wrong. That’s not logical or rational.” And then I amend my thinking. So I may not be over it yet, and it is a process change isn’t going to happen overnight. But I am making real efforts and am at least trying to change. “Challenge your preconceptions, or they will challenge you” 🙏

Shoutout to the guy who likes Impractical Jokers! Cool guy! I think racism is exaggerated in the USA. I think racism exists mainly in very old generations and children, and it's gotten worse in children because the problem has been exaggerated, and now kids are confused, especially with all the jokes about racism. Real racism is bad and everyone deep down knows its true. When I very young in the 2000s, racism felt like it was in the past, and that we only make jokes now and that's it. Then people started talking about it seriously again, and have added to its popularity again. I dont know too much about other cultures and countries because I just haven't learned enough, so I won't pretend to know, but I believe that the USA is a mostly fast-pace, ambitious place in the majority of the country, and we are also big on freedom.
