Pile 4. Yeah, I feel people "punish" me for having healed my childhood traumas. They think I grew up more privileged than I have because I don't play victim nor dwell on all the betrayal I've gone through. (even though the betrayals have for real ruined my life more than once) And every time I am assertive, they assume I'm a narcissist or manipulative. Well, there's this saying that you know the world as you know yourself, so that speaks volumes to how they are.

Oh, I relate to this so much. People assume that I’ve never experienced any trauma but I’ve just chosen to heal it and focus more on the positive aspects of life. So they end up viewing me as “naive” or “well off”

I’m tired to always having to explain myself that I choose to be a loner not because I was bullied in the past but rather..I felt trapped mostly in groups/settings which were not in alignment with my spirits/values. Everyday was very draining, I can barely escape. That is why I love being detached and I really appreciate my close friends who understand this side of me as well.

#4 this made sense to me people assume I feel that I love my alone time because I don't know how to build relationships. I actually love the freedom of no attachments and being affected by others in such ways. Also, betrayal, yes I am more afraid if it than the inability yo create meaningful relationships. And I could fight about anything and everything but I'm beyond that, I avoid conflict and I can see how people feel it's because I don't know how to. I've healed to some degree of childhood trauma, I don't need to prove alot to people. I love my peace ✌️

#3. Oh the juxtaposition of what they think vs what I'm feeling. They don't know I've been crying like a baby for losing my job and because of a situationship I left behind, a girl who still pulls at me energetically and invades my mind, though not as often but it still happens. It took this intense energy from the upcoming solar eclipse to shake me and remind me that "oh yeah, I do deserve better." Oh yeah, there has always been a giant gap between my low mental and how highly people see/think of me. JUST NOW I'm learning to not be hard on myself. They don't know that happy endings don't exist for me. What I get instead is new beginnings to rebuild and reinvent myself. The weight of starting anew falls on my shoulders. But its too spiritual, they wouldn't understand. That has always been my takeaway with little to no variation lol..Dang what a venting sesh, haha.

I swear if people sees me as a workaholic, I see where they are coming from but THEY SHOULD NOT ASSUME I'M UNEMOTIONAL, I think I'm one of those people who cries a lot if I watch a show, for whatever sad thing comes by. It's not funny at all, I hate watching sad things with people because I'm always trying to hide my tears 😂 I also love talking about psychology and listen to people's story if they need an ear, as long as they accept that I'm a solution finder and not a cry pillow. 😊

P. 4 here, and yes, a high-functioning, alcoholic-controlling mother and emotionally absent dad. I’ve been going to therapy and healing, which causes me to distance myself from toxicity. I also experienced a lot of betrayal in relationships. Meanwhile, I’ve noticed people around me are making all sorts of wrong assumptions about my life. It’s like you were saying they were just creating their own narrative of my story. Generally, I don’t really care as long as those make-up stories of theirs keep them and their bs away from me. Though occasionally, there will be people who approach me with those assumptions, and they get offended or taken back when they don't get the “reaction” they want.
