The Council of Trent declared: 😍😍 “ . . . if they [men] were not born again in Christ, they would never be justified, since in that new birth there is bestowed upon them, through the merit of His passion, the grace by which they are made just . . He laid down the conditions of salvation thus: "He that believeth and is baptized," said the Son of the Living God, "shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be condemned" (Luke 16:16). Here, then, Our Blessed Lord laid down the two conditions of salvation: Faith and Baptism. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved, but he that believeth not shall be condemned - or is damned Catholics not Born again Justin who died for his faith said in 151 A.D. “As many as are persuaded and believe that what we [Christians] teach and say is true . . . are brought by us where there is water and are regenerated in the same manner in which we were ourselves regenerated. For, in the name of God the Father . . . and of our Savior Jesus Christ, and of the Holy Spirit [Matt. 28:19], they then receive the washing with water. For Christ also said,‘Unless you are born again, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven’ [John 3:3]” (First Apology 61). Around 190 A.D., Irenaeus, the bishop of Lyons, wrote, “And [Naaman] dipped himself . . . seven times in the Jordan’ [2 Kgs. 5:14]. It was not for nothing that Naaman of old, when suffering from leprosy, was purified upon his being baptized, but [this served] as an indication to us. For as we are lepers in sin, we are made clean, by means of the sacred water and the invocation of the Lord, from our old transgressions, being spiritually regenerated as newborn babes, even as the Lord has declared: ‘Except a man be born again through water and the Spirit, he shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven’ [John 3:5]” (Fragment 34). In the year 252 A.D., Cyprian, the bishop of Carthage, said that when those becoming Christians “receive also the baptism of the Church . . . then finally can they be fully sanctified and be the sons of God . . . since it is written, ‘Except a man be born again of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God’ [John 3:5]” (Letters 71[72]:1). Augustine wrote, “From the time he [Jesus] said, ‘Except a man be born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of heaven’ [John 3:5], and again, ‘He that loses his life for my sake shall find it’ [Matt. 10:39], no one becomes a member of Christ except it be either by baptism in Christ or death for Christ” (On the Soul and Its Origin 1:10 [A.D. 419]). Augustine also taught, “It is this one Spirit who makes it possible for an infant to be regenerated . . . when that infant is brought to baptism; and it is through this one Spirit that the infant so presented is reborn. For it is not written, ‘Unless a man be born again by the will of his parents’ or ‘by the faith of those presenting him or ministering to him,’ but, ‘Unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Spirit’ [John 3:5]. The water, therefore, manifesting exteriorly the sacrament of grace, and the Spirit effecting interiorly the benefit of grace, both regenerate in one Christ that man who was generated in Adam” (Letters 98:2 [A.D. 408]). ONE LORD ONE FATIH ONE BAPTISM “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all” (Ephesians 4:4-6) The one baptism (and the only valid baptism), is the baptism of the one faith, the baptism authorized by the one Lord and practiced by the one body, the church of Christ. “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body” (1 Corinthians 12:13). "Are you born again-the way the Bible understands that concept?" If the Evangelical has not been properly water baptized, he has not been born again "the Bible way," regardless of what he may think. The Born Again Movement traces its origin early in the 19th century.Born Again Movement arrived at our shores in the late 1930’s and gained its popularity in the 70’s and 80’s which is considered the golden era of Born Again Movement During these years membership in various Born Again Churches increased because they where able to infiltrate mainline Protestant Churches and had lured nominal Catholics into their fold. However their steady growth ceases starting the year 1990 and their membership declined in the succeeding years. In the year 2000 Born Again Churches from the United States sent their missionaries in the Philippines to re-established the Born Again Movement and this time their primary mission is no longer to infiltrate Protestant and Catholic Churches but targeted the youth in schools particularly college students.Born Again evangelist does not want to discuss the history of the Christian church, in their Bible studies with their prospects, they intentionally limit the discussion to the Bible alone. They conceal the history of the Christian religion because it will show that their movement did not originate from the apostles. It is necessary for them to negate history because St. Paul warned us not to accept teachings that did not originate from the apostles Gal.1:8 and Born Again Movement evidently cannot trace the history of their church into the time of the apostles.Clearly Born Again evangelization has deception as its chief foundation and they even used selected passages from the Bible to deceive people. They usually start evangelizing by asking ambiguous questions such as “Are you saved?” or “Are you born again?”, if the person answers “no or I don’t know” they will tell you that you must accept Christ as a Lord and Personal Savior in order to be born again otherwise you will be damned to hell. And if the person will answer “yes” they will invite you to their church and worship with them. And if the person is a Catholic that would mean that you have to leave the Catholic Church and do away your Catholic beliefs about Mary, the Saints, confession etc. Let us be vigilant not to fall to the snares of the Born Again movement.

@@bibleman8010 The Bible vs Catholicism Authority The Bible: Scripture has authority over the church. “All Scripture is inspired and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness” (2 Tim. 3:16). Catholicism: The Catholic Church has authority over the Scriptures. “The task of interpreting the Word of God authentically has been entrusted solely to the Magisterium of the Church, that is, to the Pope and to the bishops in communion with him.” Article 3 (CCC 100). Justification The Bible: Man is justified by faith and justification provides a right standing before God. “But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness” (Romans 4:5). Catholicism: Man is justified repeatedly by sacraments and works. “The sacrament of Penance offers a new possibility to convert and recover the grace of justification” (CCC 1446). Regeneration The Bible: Man is regenerated by the Holy Spirit. “For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free, and we were all made to drink of one Spirit” (1 Cor. 12:13). Catholicism: Man is regenerated through water baptism. “Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God . . . Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word” (CCC 1213). Salvation The Bible: Man is saved by God’s unmerited grace. “For by grace you have been saved through faith; and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not a result of works, so that no one may boast” (Eph. 2:8-9). Catholicism: Man is saved by meriting the graces needed for salvation. “We can then merit for ourselves and for others the graces needed . . . for the attainment of eternal life” (CCC 2010). The Bible: Man is saved for good works. “For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them” (Eph. 2:10). Catholicism: Man is saved by good works, which can also be applied to others. “In this way they attain their own salvation and cooperate in saving their brothers” (CCC 1477). The Bible: Salvation is offered to everyone who believes and repents. “Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God” (2 Cor. 5:20). Catholicism: Salvation is offered only through membership in the Catholic Church. “Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it or to remain in it” (CCC 846). The Bible: All sins are purified by the blood of Jesus. “But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin” (1 John 1:7). Catholicism: Some sins are purified by the fires of Purgatory. “After death they undergo purification, so as to achieve the holiness necessary to enter the joy of heaven” (CCC 1030). “The Church gives the name Purgatory to this final purification of the elect” (CCC 1031). Saints The Bible: Believers become a saint when the Spirit baptizes him into the body of Christ. “And He gave some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ” (Eph. 4:11-12). Catholicism: People become a saint only if the Pope canonizes them. Catholics can pray to them for intercession. “By canonizing some of the faithful . . . by proposing the saints to them as models and intercessors” (CCC 828). The Lord’s Supper The Bible: The Lord’s Supper is a memorial. “Do this in remembrance of Me” (1 Cor. 11:24, 25). Catholicism: The Lord’s Supper is a propitiatory sacrifice. “The sacrifice of Christ and the sacrifice of the Eucharist are one single sacrifice . . . the same Christ who offered Himself once in a bloody manner on the altar of the cross is contained and offered in an unbloody manner . . . this sacrifice is truly propitiatory” (CCC 1367). The Bible: Believers receive Jesus once, spiritually, in the heart. “Who also sealed us and gave us the Spirit in our hearts as a pledge” (2 Cor. 1:22). Catholicism: Catholics receive Jesus physically in the stomach, as often as possible. “The body, blood . . . soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ . . . is truly, really, and substantially contained in the Eucharist” (CCC 1374-78). Condemnation The Bible: Condemns anyone who perverts the Gospel, including the Roman Catholic clergy. “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed!” (Gal. 1:8) Catholicism: Condemns with over 100 anathemas those who believe the Bible instead of the Canons of the Council of Trent. These condemnations are still in effect today. www.wordexplain.com/Anathemas_and_the_Council_of_Trent.html Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) available at: www.catholicculture.org/culture/library/catechism/index.cfm

@@bibleman8010 If Catholicism true, where do we find its teachings in the early church? Roman Catholics routinely claim that their church is the true church that possesses the authority of the apostles and of Christ. As a result of this, the Roman Catholic Church claims to be able to teach doctrine and pulls out of its sacred tradition, teachings that are not found in the New Testament. If the Roman Catholic Church properly represents Christ and the true teachings of the Christian church, then are what it teaches found in the early church? Now, Catholics will automatically assume that the phrase “early church” refers to the church fathers whom they claim unanimously agree with Catholic teachings. This is clearly not the case to anyone who seriously studies the church fathers (See the article Early Church Fathers Quotes by Topic). Nevertheless, if the Catholics want to go back to the earliest times (Early Church Fathers) in support of their theology, then why don’t we go back before them to the first Christians of the first century who lived during the time of the apostles? Did the first Christians teach Catholicism? Believers were first called Christians in Acts 11:26 and were referred to later as such (1 Pet. 4:16). The New Testament records their earliest beliefs and practices. If the first Christians were really Catholics and members of the one true Roman Catholic Church, then where do we find in the New Testament where those first Christians practiced or believed in such Roman Catholic teachings in the following list? Note: you can check each paragraph in the catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) at www.scborromeo.org/ccc.htm. You can go there and just type in paragraph number. Nevertheless, if the Roman Catholic Church is the true church, did the earliest Christians teach the following? The Catholic Church is the one true church (CCC 2105) The infallibility of the Roman Catholic Church (CCC 2035) Only the Roman Catholic Church has the authority to interpret Scripture (CCC 100) The Roman Catholic Church is necessary for salvation (CCC 846) The full benefit of salvation is only through the Roman Catholic Church (Vatican 2, Decree on Ecumenism, 3) Grace can be merited (CCC 2010 CCC 2027) Grace is something infused into the soul (CCC 1999, 2023) Indulgences (CCC 1471, 1478, 1498, 1472) Penance is necessary for salvation (CCC 980) The Mass is a re-sacrifice of Christ can be applied to the dead (CCC 1366, 1367,1414) The merit of Mary and the Saints can be applied to others (CCC 1477) Mary brings us the gifts of eternal salvation (CCC 969) Mary delivers souls from death (CCC 966) In regards to the church, there is no better way than to look to Mary (CCC 972) Veneration of relics (CCC 1674) Seven sacraments (CCC 1113) Before images of things in heaven and earth, Rosary beads Scapulars Holy water I see none of these things in the New Testament. No apostolic succession of authority with the Bereans Catholics routinely claim that they have an ancient pedigree tracing their lineage of authority back to the apostles. Even if such a claim could somehow be shown to be true, does a pedigree mean that the Catholic church is correct in everything it teaches? Of course not. Truth is not measured by a Church’s self-asserting authority found in a lineage back to the apostles. Instead, truth is measured by what is in Scripture. “Now these were more noble-minded than those in Thessalonica, for they received the word with great eagerness, examining the Scriptures daily to see whether these things were so,” (Acts 17:11). The First Christians used Scripture to validate the apostles’ teachings. But, where did the Bereans get the authority to interpret Scripture and validate what Paul and Silas were teaching (Acts 17:10)? No authority was ever mentioned or assumed. Were the Bereans members of the “true church”? Did they appeal to their pedigree of authority and succession? No. In fact, while the apostles were still alive, they subjected the teachings of Paul and Silas to the Scriptures. And, they were considered noble-minded for doing so. But, where was their so-called authority to judge what Paul and Silas said against God’s word? It wasn’t there. It wasn’t an issue. The Catholic church has made up the issue of authority, in my opinion, to bolster its position as well as exercise control over its adherents’ lives and beliefs. Just as justification by grace came before the law (Rom. 4:1-5; Gal. 3:8, 15-17), so too subjecting the apostles to the Scripture came before any tradition and pedigree. Therefore, like the Bereans, let’s use God’s word to judge spiritual truth. We don’t need some “authority” to do it as if that “authority” means we are then able to interpret God’s word. Do we need some authority to understand and interpret such things as… Matthew 12:1, “At that time Jesus went through the grainfields on the Sabbath, and His disciples became hungry and began to pick the heads of grain and eat.” Luke 4:44, “So He kept on preaching in the synagogues of Judea.” John 11:35, “Jesus wept.” Acts 8:5, “Philip went down to the city of Samaria and began proclaiming Christ to them.” Romans 16:8, “Greet Ampliatus, my beloved in the Lord.” Now, of course, not everything in the Bible is as easily understood as what I’ve listed here. And, undoubtedly, some scriptures are difficult to interpret. But, authority is not needed to interpret the five verses I used as an example above - nor countless others. Authority was not needed by the Bereans to interpret the Scriptures they had, the Old Testament when they judged the teachings of Paul and Silas. Undoubtedly there were difficult things to understand in the Old Testament just as there are difficult things in the New Testament. But nothing of authority is needed, and nothing of authority is mentioned in order to interpret God’s word! Conclusion If the Roman Catholic Church is true, then where do we find its special teachings (listed above) in the early church recorded in the New Testament? We don’t. If we can’t find them, then do they probably represent the First Christian Church? No, they don’t. carm.org/roman-catholicism/if-catholicism-true-where-do-we-find-its-teachings-in-the-early-church/

That would be the Word of God preserved by the Catholic Church as the bible, right? Jesus Christ founded a Church (Matthew 16:18). He did not command anyone to write a Gospel. The Word of GOD is a person, and not a book (John 1:1,14). The Catholic Church is based on the Word of GOD alone and not on Scripture alone. the Bible came from the Church, and that the Church did not come from the Bible. The Catholic Church is the Mother of the Bible, not the Daughter. THE BIBLE IS A CATHOLIC BOOK. For those who deny that the Bible is a Catholic Book, the founder of Protestantism, Martin Luther, concurred that the Bible is indeed a Catholic Book. He had this to say: "We are compelled to concede to the Papists that they have the Word of GOD, that we received it from them, and that without them, we should have no knowledge of it at all." Martin Luther, commentary on St. John. Isn't it strange that other Christian Churches have to admit (since they use the same canon) that the Catholic Church made an infallible decision when it decided which books of the New Testament are inspired and which ones aren't, yet these same Churches reject the Canon of the Old Testament decided by the same Bishops in the same Councils? Even Martin Luther saw the inescapable principle of fragmentation and disunity that lies at the heart of sola scriptura. In a letter to Urlich Zwingli, he complained bitterly about the doctrinal anarchy that was even then rampant among Protestants: "If the world lasts, it will be necessary, on account of the differing interpretations of Scripture which now exist, that to preserve the unity of faith, we should receive the [Catholic] councils and decrees and fly to them for refuge."🤦♂🤦♂

I was born and raised Catholic and I enter any church that follows the Christ. Jesus didn’t teach us to say “that’s what they believe in” referring to other Christians because this way you’re only teaching people to start disagreeing and hating one another thinking they’re right and others are wrong. I hope pastors start sharing peace and love with other Christians and not refer them by anything else. We follow Jesus Christ and that’s what should matter.

, “Why do you Catholics believe Mary was without Sin when the Bible says, “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” in Romans 3:23? I asked her, “Do you know the Bible well?” “Yes - I grew up Baptist.” “Good,” I said. “Let me ask you - what was in the Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament?” “Three things,” she answered. “The Ten Commandments, the Manna from Heaven and the Shepherds Staff from Aaron, the brother of Moses.” I replied, “Wow, you do know the Bible - good for you! And Yes, you are correct, that in the Ark of the Covenant were three things - the Ten Commandments - some scholars call it with Word of God since God did write it with his finger into the rock tablets. Would you agree to that?” “Yes, you could call it the Word of God” Then the “Manna from Heaven is also called the “Bread from Heaven,” Right?” “Right,” she answered. “And the Shepherds staff - from Aaron who was the High Priest of the Levites - symbolized the High Priesthood - Right?” “Right,” she said. “So, who is the Word of God, the Bread from Heaven and the High Priest” “Why Jesus!” she answered. “Yes, Jesus was indeed in that Ark of the Covenant - because He was there before Abraham as we learned in John’s Gospel, and all things were created through Him and for Him as we learned in Colossians 1:16. Now, let’s go to 2 Samuel 6:1-7, where Uzzah was carrying the Ark with David dancing up ahead as they brought the Ark to Jerusalem. But the oxen stumbled, and Uzzah put his hand on it to steady it - and what happened to Uzzah?” “He died,” she said. “Correct - but Why did he die” “I’ll have to think about that” ”He died because nothing unclean could touch that Ark. Leviticus tells us that and so Uzzah had sin on his soul and touched the Ark and died.” “ That sounds right,” she said. “Let’s go about 600 to 800 years forward to a young girl named Mary who is told she is going to carry that same “Word of God” that same “Bread from Heaven” and that same, “High Priest” - Jesus! How in the world could she have sin on her soul? Would she have died just as Uzzah did? “I never thought of that🎂🎂

This Is what Rome says LG Mediatrix” is explained. Catechism For no creature could ever be counted as equal with the Incarnate Word and Redeemer. Just as the priesthood of Christ is shared in various ways both by the ministers and by the faithful, and as the one goodness of God is really communicated in different ways to His creatures, so also the unique mediation of the Redeemer does not exclude but rather gives rise to a manifold cooperation which is but a sharing in this one source. The Church does not hesitate to profess this subordinate role of Mary. It knows it through unfailing experience of it and commends it to the hearts of the faithful, so that encouraged by this maternal help they may the more intimately adhere to the Mediator and Redeemer. The Church’s perspective of Mary as subordinate, as any member of the faithful would be😉😉

It’s shocking how much Scripture you have to deny to pretend that all Christians’ prayers are equally efficacious in the eyes of God at all times: “The Lord is far from the wicked, but he hears the prayer of the righteous.” Proverbs 15:29 “Behold, the Lord’s hand is not shortened, that it cannot save, or his ear dull, that it cannot hear; but your iniquities have made a separation between you and your God, and your sins have hidden his face from you so that he does not hear.” Isaiah 59:1-2 “We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.” John 9:31 “Husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered… For, ‘Whoever desires to love life and see good days, let him keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit; let him turn away from evil and do good; let him seek peace and pursue it. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayer. But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.’” 1 Peter 3:7, 10-12 “Likewise, you who are younger, be subject to the elders. Clothe yourselves, all of you, with humility toward one another, for ‘God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.’” 1 Peter 5:5 “You ask and do not receive, because you ask wrongly, to spend it on your passions.” James 4:3 “Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working.” James 5:16

Catechism #432 The name "Jesus" signifies that the very name of God is present in the person of his Son, made man for the universal and definitive redemption from sins. It is the divine name that alone brings salvation, and henceforth all can invoke his name, for Jesus united himself to all men through his Incarnation, so that "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." . "Mariolatry" means the worship of Mary, giving her the kind of honor due only to God (Greek: latria). Since Catholics justifiably give her greater honor than they give other saints, but less than they give to God (and not just less, but a fundamentally different kind of honor), Mariolatry does not exist in Catholic piety. In fact, the Catholic Church forbids Mariolatry because it forbids us to worship anyone other than God himself: "Idolatry not only refers to false pagan worship. It remains a constant temptation to faith. Idolatry consists in divinizing what is not God. Man commits idolatry whenever he honors and reveres a creature in place of God. . . . Idolatry rejects the unique Lordship of God; it is therefore incompatible with communion with God" (Catechism of the Catholic Church 2113, cf. 2110-2112, 2114). Do I hear the sound of Taps playing on your habitual LYING, ACT OF OMISSION OR JUST PLAIN STUPIDITY Thomas Aquinas once noted that no matter how flawless one's logic was, if it began with a faulty premise, then the end result would be a conclusion founded upon error. "Honor and glory is in the word of the wise, but the tongue of the fool is his ruin." Sir 5:15 "But these people, like irrational animals born by nature for capture and destruction, revile things that they do not understand, and in their destruction they will also be destroyed, suffering wrong as payment for wrongdoing. 2Peter 2:12-13 Fear Not! This is yet another attempt to discredit Catholics. It is done a bit kinder than usual but to spend a quarter of your worship time on this? why not simply ask a Catholic? Spend those 30 minutes in devotion to God and not giving false witness. 1:14:21 This is a common misunderstanding, it stems from the fact that most Protestants can only think of one thing or another thing happening, not both. You can't possibly ask BOTH Mary and Jesus! There is nothing stopping you from asking Mary and your friends and your congregation to pray for you and *Jesus.* Oops he gives two Biblical sources for this "unbased idea". He restates this misconception at 1:16:10 Luke 11:5-13 luke 18:1-8 Nor is there any restriction preventing a Catholic to simply go to Jesus alone. We are not mandated on this. This is always overstated by those trying to show errors. _"What does it sound like"?_ You could ask what it looks like. I have seen Protestants do similar things, but it doesn't mean I know what they believe or think. 1:31:39 shows everyone bowing their head and worshipping the Pastor! Oh my! 1:21:04 He is going to read the table of contents to this book. Can he also read the table of contents to the Bible? The one that is Biblical. 1:30:38 "we have to decide" so there is an external source deciding something Concerning the Bible. You can't find this decision in the Bible and you still need a list of books so your not sourcing from fallible books. And the one he thought too terrible to address and left out completely. Luke 1:43 mentions that Mary is the mother of God. *A Biblical source.* Also, as God wished to be born of a woman, He required a mother. Mothers are not creators, your mother did not create you, God did. Oh and I would like to know where is the list of Mary's children? There is a list of her sister and brother in laws children but not hers. (her sister Mary) As for the Sacraments. They are not additions. They are in the Bible and are recorded in early records of Christian worship. I ask, why have you corrupted what Jesus commanded? You do not eat of His flesh. If you think this is only figurative then why did Jesus add the unlawful blood addition?

Even though his intention was to draw people away from Mary, I was glad that he taught the congregation what Catholics believe. We do believe that Mary is the new ark of the covenant. We do believe that she is the Mother of God, Theotokos. Jesus is God. As the mother of King Jesus, she is the Queen Mother. I pray hearts are softened and eyes are opened. It’s funny, with God all things are possible…..but Mary being immaculately conceived isn’t possible lol.

*Even though his intention was to draw people away from Mary,* No, his intention is to put Mary in a proper biblical light. Draw catholics away from an unbiblical, heretical mary? Sure. The Mary of the bible has none of the trappings the rcc has given her. The titles, offices, powers...none of it is in scripture. *It’s funny, with God all things are possible…..but Mary being immaculately conceived isn’t possible lol.* Here is a church father speaking to that very thing. Of course nothing is "too hard for the Lord." But if we choose to apply this principle so extravagantly and harshly in our capricious imaginations, we may then make out God to have done anything we please, on the ground that it was not impossible for Him to do it. *We must not, however, because He is able to do all things suppose that He has actually done what He has not done. But we must inquire whether He has really done it. It will be your duty, however, to adduce your proofs out of the Scriptures as plainly as we do,* Tertullian, Against Praxeas Vol 3 Ch10, 11 Can God do all things? Sure, that which is consistent with His nature anyway. Did He do all the things catholics claim? What does Tertullian suggest? Prove it from scripture.

Just because it could have been possible for Mary to have been immaculately conceived since God can do anything, doesn’t mean she was. She wasn’t. Mary was a humble servant of the Lord that God chose to birth the Son through. I’m glad the pastor’s references were accurately explained and he presented them well. We pray for God to open the eyes and hearts of Catholics to the truth and be corrected in the man-made deceptions they are believing.

Jesus Christ is God. Women who bear people are called mothers. If the person a woman bears is God, then, consequently, the woman is the Mother of God. It’s that simple. Jesus Christ is God. Women who bear people are called mothers. If the person a woman bears is God, then, consequently, the woman is the Mother of God. It’s that simple. Now, dingbats claims that Jesus’ divine nature had no mother. This is true, of course, but the Church does not teach otherwise. We say that Mary is the Mother of God; mothers are not mothers of natures, but of persons, and Jesus was a divine person who took on a human nature. Was your mother the mother of your human nature? No, she was the mother of you. It is a person who is conceived and born, not a nature [only]. What person was born of Mary? A divine Person only--not a human person--but a divine Person who took on human nature. The one born of Mary “shall be called the son of God” (Lk 1:35), and “God sent his son, made of a woman” (Gal 4:4). [2] German reformer Martin Luther's (1483-1546) writings often address the subject of Mary: On the Divine Motherhood of Mary, he wrote In this work whereby she was made the Mother of God, so many and such great good things were given her that no one can grasp them. ... Not only was Mary the mother of him who is born [in Bethlehem], but of him who, before the world, was eternally born of the Father, from a Mother in time and at the same time man and God. (Weimer's The Works of Luther, English translation by Pelikan, Concordia, St. Louis, v. 7, p. 572.) John Calvin (1509-1564) also held that Mary was the Mother of God It cannot be denied that God in choosing and destining Mary to be the Mother of his Son, granted her the highest honor. ... Elizabeth called Mary Mother of the Lord, because the unity of the person in the two natures of Christ was such that she could have said that the mortal man engendered in the womb of Mary was at the same time the eternal God Ulrich Zwingli (1484-1531), wrote, on the divine motherhood of Mary: It was given to her what belongs to no creature, that in the flesh she should bring forth the Son of God Mt 1:18-25 Now this is how the birth of Jesus Christ came about. When his mother Mary was betrothed to Joseph, but before they lived together, she was found with child through the holy Spirit. Joseph her husband, since he was a righteous man, yet unwilling to expose her to shame, decided to divorce her quietly. Such was his intention when, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, "Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary your wife into your home. For it is through the holy Spirit that this child has been conceived in her. She will bear a son and you are to name him Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins." All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: "Behold, the virgin shall be with child and bear a son, and they shall name him Emmanuel," which means "God is with us." When Joseph awoke, he did as the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took his wife into his home. He had no relations with her until she bore a son, and he named him Jesus. www.catholicapologetics.org/ap080300.htm So then you do not believe Mary carried the divinity in her womb and gave birth to it?....You believe rather that the divinity of GOD only came into Christ after he was born and seperate the divinity from the humanity of Christ(this is Nestorianism)?....Do you believe the word mother means source?...If so do you believe your mother is the source of your soul?...or is she your mother becaues she carried you in her womb and gave birth to you?

The Ark became the dwelling place of the presence of God [Exodus 40:34-35] Now notice how God the Holy Spirit overshadowed and then ind welled Mary. At that time Mary's womb became the dwelling place of the presence of God [Luke 1:35] Then The Ark contained the Ten Commandments [the words of God in stone], a pot of manna, and Aaron's rod who was the high priest that had a bulb on the end of it which when they pulled it out the bulb bloomed which represents Jesus's resurrection [Deuteronomy 10:3-5; Hebrews 9:4] Now look what the womb of Mary contained : Jesus who is the Word of God made flesh , the true bread from heaven , Jesus is the high priest who resurrected to life. So you can clearly see why the Church teaches typo logically that Mary is the New Ark and it gets worse for you the very same ARK had passed King David and when he saw this he danced and leapt for joy! just as with Mary when Elizabeth saw her and at the voice of Mary the baby in Elizabeth's womb Leapt for Joy! then David also said David asked, "How is it that the Ark of the Lord comes to me?" [2 Samuel 6:9] and then notice what Elizabeth asks, "Why is this granted unto me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?" [Luke 1:43] then The Ark remained in the house of Obed-edom in the Jude-an countryside for 3 months [2 Samuel 6:11] Mary traveled to the Jude-an countryside and stood with her cousin Elizabeth for 3 months!! Luke 1:56 Mary remained with her about three months and then returned to her home. !!! Obviously you have a poor understanding of what the Catholic Church really teaches. The Catholic Church says that Mary was preserved free from sin by God in order to PREPARE her to conceive and give birth to His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus is NOT like any other human being. He is INFINITELY HOLY (just like His heavenly father). And so the woman who would have the privilege of conceiving Him in her womb CAN'T be like any other woman in the world; she has to be DIFFERENT from every other woman by being SANCTIFIED and PURIFIED in order to prepare her for this task. Therefore, it is DISRESPECTFUL to the dignity and sanctity of Jesus Christ to say that He can be conceived in the womb of a SINFUL woman. Also, when we say that Mary is SINLESS, we are NOT saying that she didn't need a SAVIOUR. How do you think she became sinless in the first place ? Do you think it was by her OWN power? No. It was by the GRACE of Jesus Christ. In other words, God SAVED her by giving her an abundance of GRACE: "Hail Mary, FULL of grace, the Lord is with you" (Luke 1:28) and it is this grace that SAVED her by preserving her from sin. Mary had a SAVIOUR, and that is the reason why she was sinless. If she didn't have a Saviour, she couldn't have remained free from sin because she wouldn't have the grace to make it possible. The work of a SAVIOUR is not only to save people AFTER they have become sinners. A SAVIOUR can also preserve or protect a person from falling into sin in the first place so that such a person never even becomes a sinner in the first place. The Bible confirms that God has the power to prevent someone from falling into sin (Jude 1:24). Lastly, to say that someone is SINLESS does NOT mean that such a person is EQUAL to Jesus Christ. For instance, we know that the angels in heaven are SINLESS, but that doesn't make them equal to God or equal to Jesus Christ🎁🎁

Angels have the ability to sin. Satan sins, the sons of God come down during the time of Noah and have children with women and it even says that they leave their natural dwelling place and commit these sins, the 1/3 that follow satan sinned as well. So how are the angles without sin when they are able to be condemned? And where in the Bible is Mary intercession necessary? All accounts on Mary veneration take place in things written from outside of the Bible. But the scriptures never mention this. And when a women goes to Jesus and says blessed is your mother he says blessed are those that hear my words and keep it (Luke 11:27-28) Jesus himself had the opportunity to exalt Mary but did not, not because he did not love her or even because he did not respect her of course he does he does the will of the father but he did not allow her to be praised beyond what is necessary because she is still born in to sin like us. And you should be weary when looking at the history of Mary veneration and ask yourself if the people writing on this new concept that was not found in the Bible if these individuals were inspired by the holy spirit to add these things. I believe that the martyrs that are in Heaven can pray for us as is states in Revelations and I believe that Mary does have grace and praise from God but we do not pray to her we pray to the mediator Jesus as mentioned in the Bible.

Second, we should add a wish that everyone may know and respect her...He? who has no faith is advised to refrain from saying the Hail Mary. (Personal Prayer Book, 1522)." You can use the "Hail Mary", Luther did.. Hmmm? Martin Luther -- "Whoever possesses a good (firm) faith, says the Hail Mary without danger! Whoever is weak in faith can utter no Hail Mary without danger to his salvation. (Sermon, March 11, 1523). Our prayer should include the Mother of God.. .What the Hail Mary says is that all glory should be given to God, using these words: "Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee; blessed? art thou among women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus Christ. Amen!" Interesting, Hmmm. The veneration of Mary is inscribed in the very depths of the human heart. (Sermon, September 1, 1522)." "It is the consolation and the superabundant goodness of God, that man is able to exult in such a treasure. Mary is his true Mother ..? (Sermon, Christmas, 1522)"? Really?? Hmm...ok.. Yes... @@Alenjxy Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you. Luke 1:28 "And coming to her, he said, "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with you." The Greek kecharitomene means favored by grace, graced. Its tense suggests a permanent state of being "highly favored," thus full of grace. Charity, the divine love within us, comes from the same root. God is infinite Goodness, infinite Love. Mary is perfect created goodness, filled to the limit of her finite being with grace or charity.Blessed art thou among women Luke 1:41-42a "When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the infant leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth, filled with the holy Spirit, cried out in a loud voice and said, "Most blessed are you among women..." Luke 1:48 "For he has looked upon his handmaid's lowliness; behold, from now on will all ages call me blessed."Among all women is a way to say the highest/greatest etc. of a group in Semitic languages (these words would likely have been spoken in Aramaic). Mary is being called the greatest of all women, greater than Ruth, greater than Sarah, greater than EVE! Since Eve was created immaculate (without original sin), Mary must have been conceived immaculate. And, although Eve fell into sin by her own free will, Mary must have corresponded to God's grace and remained sinless. She could not otherwise be greater than Eve. Thus, as the Fathers of the Church unanimously assert, Mary is the New Eve who restores womanhood to God's original intention and cooperates with the New Adam, her Son, for the Redemption of the world.Blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus Luke 1:42b "and blessed is the fruit of your womb." Jesus is Mary's fruit. Good fruit does not come from anything but a good tree (Mt. 7:17-18)! The all-holy Son of God could not be the fruit of any other tree than the Immaculate Virgin.Holy Mary, Mother of God Luke 1:43 "And how does this happen to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me? Kyrios is the Greek word used by the Jews in the Septuagint Bible (Greek translation) for Yhwh, the Divine Name of God. In her greeting of Mary, Elizabeth is saying: "How is it that the mother of my God should come to me." Against the heresies of the 4th and 5th centuries which tried to split the Person of Jesus into two, divine and human, denying one or the other, the Council of Ephesus in 431 AD proclaimed Mary Theotokos (God-bearer, i.e. mother of God). Jesus is a single Person, a Divine Person, the 2nd Person of the Most Holy Trinity. To be mother of the Person Jesus is to be mother of a Person who is God. Mary's title protects this truth against errors which emphasize or deny, either the divinity or humanity of the Lord.Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen. Luke 2:35 "...and you yourself a sword will pierce so that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed." John 2:5 "His mother said to the servers, "Do whatever he tells you." Mary sees a need and appeals to Her Son to satisfy it. He does. We turn to Mary to ask her to intercede with her Son in our daily spiritual and material needs, but especially at the hour of our death. At that moment our salvation hangs in the balance as the devil makes his final foray to deter us from the path to God (Rev. 2:10). It is not surprising, therefore, that both the Hail Mary and the Our Father conclude with an appeal to be delivered from the evil one. The Power of Intercessory Prayer: Intercessory prayer proceeds from faith in God that holy men and women who have died are as alive today as they were on earth (Luke 20:38). If the prayer of the just man avails much, how much more the prayer of the one made perfect (Rev. 21:27) and living with God in heaven (the patriarchs, apostles and other holy men and women).James 5:16b "the fervent prayer of a righteous man is very powerful." Rev. 5:8 "When he took it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each of the elders held a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the holy ones. The angels, too, mediate our prayers. This is taught explicitly in the Jewish book of Tobit (Tob. 12:12), accepted by Christians as inspired until Luther on his own authority rejected it. It remains part of the Catholic Bible. Tobit 12:12 I can now tell you that when you, Tobit, and Sarah prayed, it was I who presented and read the record of your prayer before the Glory of the Lord; and I did the same thing when you used to bury the dead. Rev. 8:3 "Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a gold censer. He was given a great quantity of incense to offer, along with the prayers of all the holy ones, on the gold altar that was before the throne." Is the rosary mindless babbling? The purpose of the different beads on the rosary is to count the various prayers as they are said. Unlike the Moslem prayer beads and the mantras of Buddhism, the prayers of the rosary are meant to occupy our whole being, body and soul, while meditating on the truths of the Faith. Any prayer is vain, however, if said mechanically without devotion. Simply to repeat prayers is not the vain repetition condemned by Christ (Mt 6:7), since He Himself repeats His prayer in the Garden three times (Mt 26:39, 42, 44) and the Psalms (inspired by the Holy Spirit) are often very repetitive (Ps 119 has 176 verses and Ps. 136 repeats the same phrase 26 times). Matthew 6:7 In praying, do not babble like the pagans, who think that they will be heard because of their many words. Psalm 136:1-26 Praise the LORD, who is so good; God's love endures forever; Praise the God of gods; God's love endures forever; . . . Praise the God of heaven, God's love endures forever. Matthew 26:39 He advanced a little and fell prostrate in prayer, saying, "My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me; yet, not as I will, but as you will." Matthew 26:42 Withdrawing a second time, he prayed again, "My Father, if it is not possible that this cup pass without my drinking it, your will be done!" Matthew 26:44 He left them and withdrew again and prayed a third time, saying the same thing again. The Church believes that it is necessary for a Christian to meditate (prayerfully think about) the will of God, the life and teachings of Jesus, the price He paid for our salvation, and so on. Unless we do this we will begin to take these great gifts for granted and ultimately fall away from the Lord. Every Christian must meditate in some way in order to preserve the gift of salvation (James 1:22-25). Many Catholic and non-Catholic Christians prayerfully read and apply Scripture to their lives, that is, meditate on them. With the rosary this can be done virtually anywhere and anytime.😍😍

@@Alenjxy Mary does not take away from the redemptive work of Christ nor does she add to it. If you want proof that Christ's redemptive work is perfect look to exhibit A- The blessed virgin Mary. Nowhere in the Bible does it say not to honor Mary. In fact the Bible says the opposite. The Bible says we should honor those who God honors bless those who God blesses. And Luke 1:48 says that all generations will call her blessed. So we are just following the Bible in blessing and honoring Mary.

If the first 1500 years of Ancient Universal (Katholikos/Catholic) Church was false and has fallen astray in first place, then the Gospel they preserved and canonized is also a wrong Gospel. This is the exact same Gospel/Sacred Scripture used by the prots today the only reliable source as an infallible rule of faith in their churches. This is the biggest paradox and contradiction to the prots unless they really do think that the Holy Bible was falling from the sky, then couldn't help much.
