If anything this speaks more about her upbringing - I'm guessing sheltered, comfortable, and lacking cultural exposure. If you ask me one thing I hate about Singapore it's this - the income inequality and the brazen ignorance of some that their lived experiences is 'normal' when majority Signaporeans live with less. But alas these 'some' will still follow their parents footsteps to become successful, lead the country and just widen the inequality even further

I've worked in Japanese companies in Sg. The management are mostly from the Japan Headquarters. So get to interact and work with them. They follow hierarchy quite strictly and also punctuality is very impt. If late one minute for work can deduct money~ I see them overtime sometime. Usually the director will leave office first then the employees will leave. Another thing I've found is that they can be quite resistant to change, such as using the old and tried method. Instead of embracing new tech It may not be as rosy as you think it is. But then there are good points whereby you get to enjoy the Japanese food like sweet potatoes airflowned in here because the colleagues brought it here. and also know about interesting Japanese cultures and their language

Secondly I have to waste 2 years of my life not because I'm lazy or not a men, it's about how much opportunities i lost and is like as if i owe them a living. They think our goals and ambition is not important and I feel bad for some boys who come from a poor backgrounds family they got no choice but work outside of camp especially like food deliveries. Think of another place that allows you to climb out of poverty so long as you study real hard and finish university Think of another place that you don't have to worry about food and roof over your head. There are really alot other countries that we can identify for the individual statement above. But to think of one country that has all the above, Singapore is the one and only that is in my mind. Just a personal opinion (you can disagree to agree or agree to disagree as to each own opinions), I noticed no one mentioned about the issues we Singaporeans (myself a Singaporean), was certain issues like free speech in overseas (for mycase I went to Australia), whereby apart from known to have chill lifestyle than Singapore, I feel that few things I hate about Singapore is the lack of freedom of speech given that we are ranked "partial free" according to U.S.-based Freedom in the World as 3/7, with 1 as most free and 7 as not free. Another thing I hated about Singapore was the public order act, as the act did curtail the ability to have peaceful demonstrations (which if you have gone to open and free countries like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, United Kingdom, United States and notably some European countries), you will realise how open and expressive the people are when expressing their discourse to the government even through peaceful demonstrations. I disagree that China is the better place to go to, given their notoriety of their human right abuses on the Uighur muslim minorities, and I do not stand for the people whom are similar to me in terms of ethnicity, what's more their suppression on Tibet are also concerns of treatments of these ethnic minorities, especially those interviewed looks younger than 25, and I don't find the answers genuine as most of them do not have much exposures compared to interview those above 25.

Singaporeans complain about the price of everything but know the value of nothing. The majority of these undergrads do not need to work part-time to contribute to rent. They do not help with any chores or housework, nor do they contribute to household expenses. Really strange I remember when I was still a poly student in 2012-2015, most of my Singaporean Chinese schoolmates despised China.

The guy complaining about the education system in Singapore being too taxing for students, then chooses to move to Japan...lol Im sure he will enjoy Japan work culture
@Emsyaz2 жыл бұрын
People who say that they want to move to Japan probably have not thought about the difference between staying there as tourist vs living there as normal citizen. Japan is a horrible place to live in.

I have been living in the US for almost 14 years, I miss the stability of the Government, the strict rules, the food and the people. Grass ain't always greener on the other side of the fence, everything over here is getting expensive too. For those who said Switzerland, I have lived there for about 2 years, it's also expensive but the outdoors are a GEM. A lot of American are wanting to get out over here!

What are the reasons Americans want to get out of there while Switzerland is cleaner, safer, better healthcare, better salaries
@Emsyaz2 жыл бұрын
Barely any Singaporeans want to live in USA. Its a terrible place to live in.

Did you know USA president is rife with cronyism, nepotism and graft? Also, SG has more political parties than USA. btw what is wrong with muslim female president in a time of regional religious radicalist violence? Are you a chauvinist?
