@@sparklingdeath1730 It took me a long time before I first decided to go to Eden. I thought of it as losing progress too, but actually it's not. The more times you go to Eden the higher maximum wing count you can have, depending on how many wing buffs you unlock from the spirits. I'm at highest right now at 150. What you need is a good guide to take you through Eden. My first guide was useless, but I learned eventually.

A veteran guided me in the 4 tests, and while the wind test, she waited for me for more than 30 min so that I could pass the test, during that time she did not stop blowing kisses trying to cheer me up, when she saw that I could not do it, she returned she took my hand and helped me complete it. My thoughts on moths are.. Theyre cute babies, be their first friend on Sky and they'll never forget you (big props to my first sky friend whom I nicknamed Kaya, still haven't forgotten you yet girl ^^) I think its an overall decent thing to do yo show them just a hidden door or bring them to a winged light in a place they wouldn't expect, do a candle run with them or smth. It isnt hard, and it means a freaking world for our moth babies. Its the moths that make us feel special and advanced anyways. Moths are special ^^

As a moth, I'm really grateful to veterans for helping me out. I met one Korean pro and they helped me out a lot, like really a LOT in golden wasteland and hidden forest. Then we talked and they told me that they would help me to learn everything. I'm so thankful. They always offered me a hand. My opinion is that moths are what keep Sky alive, and we as veterans have a duty to teach them about it as the in-game tutorial only really teaches them 1% of what they need to know to thrive in Sky. Not all veterans need to become moth guardians/parents, but they should at least be kind and welcoming to those they come across. There’s a lot of toxicity towards moths in the fandom, and I think we as a whole need to recognize that yeah, sometimes they are annoying, but they’re new players and don’t know any better. With welcoming veterans to support them, they grow. Remember, we all were moths once, and I believe we should use those memories to guide them.

Honestly as a moth I was (and still am tbh) so clueless about the game, I thought winged lights and spirits were the same thing lol. I kinda just ran through all the worlds without having any idea of what I was doing. I think it's partly because I'm not very used to this type of videogame, bue yeah I can confirm that Sky is a bit confusing for new players. I've been playing for months and only now I feel like I'm getting the hang of it. So be kind to moths please :) we're dumb but we mean well, we're trying our best.

I just started the game not even a month ago, qnd yeah, I guess I can be called a moth. I do like to call a lot in certain situations, especially when I'm trying to group up in Eden. I do light candles a lot, but that's so I can purchase the upgrades and get the constellations done. (Honestly, I got all of the main spirits before my second Eden run, but I used the wiki for that.) One time in Eden, I had to go AFK for a bit, and when I came back, I actually caught up to the rest of the group all by myself. We all just bowed, saluted, and lit each other up before crossing into Storm Lock. We all kept each other safe as best we could, and in the end, I was actually the last one alive, despite the veteran among us three moths. They cheered me on with honks in spirit form, and one of them actually summoned a table. I sat down at it, before using the salute to get up, and took the last hit. All of us went to Orbit together, and one of the moths friended me. It looked like it was their second or third run, since they left with four stars and I left with three. Overall, I think whatever player type you are doesn't matter. If you're a moth, then you're a moth! It's nothing to be ashamed of. Take it from one of the new kids on the block. (I'm a Switch user. Also I was actually using a Gamecube controller for that second Eden run!)

This is why I love this game. I myself am a moth player (though now that I've got customization items my Friend whom adopted me calls me a 'very fancy Moth') I started playing because I got Covid,and wanted to do something with my Quarentine It warms my heart how much Veterans will try to help Moths. My first time through Eden I got Krilled. A lot. Because my group abandoned me. A veteran ran back, restored my light and added me as a friend! She then took my hand and led me to Point of no return, before letting go and waving, before running off. I waited and lo and behold, she returned with more moths! It makes me feel soft inside when I get adopted. Imy friend who calls me a fancy moth helped me get all the spirits I missed, trying to get the Call in VoT was fun! 0:26 I’m a semi experienced moth (I ran Eden twice and the last time was today) and I found myself leading two other moths through Eden. Before I ran Eden for the first time, I had researched a little about it so I would know what to do once I got there, so I decided to use my knowledge to guide other moths through it, since, sadly, many moths ignore the advice to go in with a friend, and get krilled 5000 times.

@@kalmkseraables in wasteland, there’s actually a really easy way to avoid graveyard(the place with 5-6 krills), which really helps if you aren’t going on a candle run. After the first krill area, you will see a spirit gate on the big slide down, and if you have one spirit, you can go through the gate. Once you go through, you will come out to an area with a huge broken ship with one krill patrolling. But the krill isn’t really scary. You can stay pretty close to the left side wall and he will never even look near you. (There are crabs though, so you might want to fly in this area.) You can just hug the wall until you reach a bunch of pipes with either a bunch of plants or a bunch of wax on it, which you can then climb. At the top of the pipes, you can simply walk forward and you will reach the third area of wasteland without ever facing the graveyard krills! In Eden, I’ve found it pretty easy, once you know what you’re doing, to navigate the obsticles and get to the top without even getting spotted by a krill. I would recommend watching a video on how to get through it, since it’s pretty hard to explain in a comment. I’ve seen videos that tell you how to skip the entire first part of Eden! I’ll link it (and maybe another helpful video) if I can find it! I started playing Sky today, and oh my god it was amazing and chaotic. There were three other people who helped me and other moths, so I'll call them Manta, Fox and Fluff. I was curious on what Eden was like since I never saw any playthroughs of it, all I knew about Eden was that it was hell. When I spawned in, Manta was going around lighting everyone's candle up, so I did the same since I liked seeing everyone's outfits. There were around 4 moths, me included. Manta, Fox and Fluff were the only ones with full deck accessories and stuff. I think those three were friends, since when we all started Fluff and Manta would not allow us Moths through the first stage until it was a safe timing to go. Fox went ahead and when it was a good time, spammed the hoot as a signal for all of us to go. When we all reached the stage where the krills were(We lost a moth sadly), Fluff watched over us moths as Fox and Manta went ahead to distract the krill and signal us. Most of us were able to make it with no damage thanks to those three. Too bad the heart of Eden ended up knocking us all down. Now I understand why it was said to be hell.

I myself was a moth (we all were) and my first time in Eden was Frikkin Terrible until a player with around 10 flight power walked by, He lit my candle and led me all the way :) we met up at the End of Orbit and I never saw him in Sky again. I never thought i would be able to adopt a moth or lead them through a world because i always thought i would mess up or act awkward. But then when i see a moth i immediately wanna protect them. If one goes up to me i immediately love them, and if i see them in danger or trying to get spirits of winged lights i friend them so i can hold their hand and lead them. Im happy that ive been able to help some moths even though they probably don’t remember me :,) But one thing so far i almost always refuse to do is lead players through wasteland because im scared ill get them krilled :,)

for my experience that since when I start play Sky, moths are cute but almost most of them being inactive. I had to block them to refresh my friend list constellation, so I sometimes adopt them. But now im not friending them because I'm afraid that they're going to quit or being inactive again, yet I also don't like them when they're annoying and being rude while interrupted my performance or my privacy when they want to light up to me. Not only that, when some of them asking for my age or gender.
