With the strong hostility towards Chinese people in most White Majority countries these days, is it true that the Whites in Russia are the least racist and do not hate the Chinese as much as most White Americans and Australians do? After all, China has a long standing close friendship with Russia and I see many Russians interested in Chinese culture. President Putin also referred to China as 'our Chinese Friends' while he refers to Western countries as 'our Western partners'.

@@jayliu6076 I love Russian Vodka very much! My favourite brand is Russian Standard. I find Vodka is like a much stronger version of Soju, taste-wise. I have yet to try borscht, a popular Russian stew. I also heard that Russian tea is very strong, and you need to dilute it with water after pouring it into your cup. Over here in Singapore, it is hard to find authentic Russian food at neighbourhood stores. The ones at Russian restaurants are super expensive. 😭😭😭

I know it's a recognizable accent because I've been asked so many times when speaking to Chinese nationals overseas if I'm from Malaysia. Never knew there was an overseas mandarin accent that was distinctive enough till a few years ago
@sususegar3 жыл бұрын
Our accents are so rojak after 3-4 generations of dilution with local lingos 😂 But as someone with poor Mandarin, I find that we sound a little similar to Taiwanese, is this true?

@@sususegar actually Taiwanese accent is very distinctive from Malaysian accent. It only sounds similar due to Taiwanese speaker sometimes adding hokkien/minnan into their mandarin sentences.
