Sanyojana is the defilement that binds the hearts of beings, the Dhamma that binds beings to suffering.

1. Sakkayaditthi - thinking that this body is ours.
2. Vijikijcha - doubt about the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha.
3. Silapphatpramas - Ignorant of the teachings of other sects.
4. Sensuality - being fascinated by the five sensual pleasures.
5. Patikha (vengeance) - has mental impact, anger, anger.
High benefits
6. Rupaka - stuck in the rupa jhāna
7. Arupakara - stuck in the arupa jhāna
8. Mana - hold yourself, hold fast to yourself.
9. Uddhajja -distracted
10. Ignorance - ignorance of the truth
K. Oramphakiyasangyojana The 5 lowest benefits include:
1. Sakkayaditthi - has the opinion that this body is ours.
2. Vijikijcha - having doubts about the qualities of the Triple Gem, namely the Buddha, Dhamma, and Sangha.

B. Utthampakiyasanyojana The 5 highest benefits include:

10. Ignorance - Blind wisdom, having no knowledge of the truth.
The Sotapanna gave up three saṃyojana.
Phra Sakadāgāmi abandons 3 saṅyojana and some 4-5 (light sensual pleasures - paṭikha).
Phra Anāgāmi has completely abandoned the first five saṅyojanas.
The Arahant abandoned all 10 virtues.
