I feel as though it’s very dishonest to say that men don’t have expectations for women. The expectations might not be money but that’s because gender roles and expectations are different in society. Men are typically valued based on their wealth and status where as women are judged based on their looks and sexual history. Sooooo many men (especially younger men) want a 10 who’s a freak in bed but also a borderline virgin. Who cooks and cleans for them etc. “Wifey material”. So yes women can get away with being broke if they’re pretty but ugly men can get away with being ugly if they have money. Same thing different font. Great episode Chuckie vibes really well

90s Baby Network when you say we do you mean men? I think it’s all about perspective. Your more inclined to think that the expectations of your gender is more reasonable because it’s a biased opinion. Objectively both expectations can cause massive societal issues... for example young men feeling the pressure to have a lot of money sometimes resorting to illegal things to acquire it and women literally starving them selves developing eating disorders/ dying on tables to achieve a certain body type. So yeah It’s all about perspective. But I personally feel like we need to move past these stereotypical gender expectations

Anybody can lie if you ask them what they bring to the table. Plus, when you ask someone that question, they’re only gonna tell you the good stuff and later down the line you might find that their negative characteristics outweigh the good.

I don’t think men even ask that question in real life if they’re interested in you. That’s why I think the conversation is so funny. Personally if a man ever asked me that question I would tell him ‘nothing. Nada. Zilch’ but I can imagine there are probably some women who list off a bunch of qualities that they think sounds good 😂

I think women fumble because what should we say. Should we start with our traits( personality and a attributes) or materialistic things(money etc). For a lot of guys they don’t care about a women’s monetary value however, when she lists her attributes a lot of the time it’s seen as not valuable at the time or less than what a man brings.
