I love the idea that the hiker themself is going through your typical forest horror game while the player attempts to get them the happy ending. I would love to see this as a multiplayer concept. like, one player as the guard in the tower while the other attempts to flee through the forest. That would be so cool to see.

I've looked out the window and seen some truely majestic animals that could rip me limb from limb. Seeing nature in it's sublime is pretty awesome. What's truley scary is looking out your window or up into a tree and realising you weren't the first one to see the other....

if this is too scary for you, i’d recommend you play Firewatch. it’s free on xbox gamepass, and is identical to Do You Copy. exactly the same, it’s a walking sim and it’s just exploration. pretty wholesome, aside from some unnerving parts of seeing silhouettes of people in areas they’re not supposed to be in. very wholesome, 10/10 recommend.

I don’t remember the eyes and flashlight being part of the game years ago. Was that something added in a newer version, or am I just unobservant… Tbh I think the game was scary enough without the eyes. The effect is cool but a little too cheap looking. The atmosphere of just having to hear what’s going on around you and having no visual of the man or a goat made it tense.
