Yep Gallic Hunters are a good archer unit, as are Dacian or Cretan Archers...but only when there's good infantry as well like in this battle...the good old murder sticks from a decent melee unit are still my favorite ranged though 😀

@@joeonitproductions yeap. if I in the other hand would have gotten charged frontally or sandwiched by 2 units. then it would be pullthrough but not when someone is only poking ur butt :) It hurts to run away from it but still is reasonable in rules

Passive defenses & friendly fire made up 1010 casualties on attackers - a high rate for a Burdigala battle methinks. It would have served the attackers well to make better job on capturing towers, might even have turned the battle.

Always friendly fire in the games. Sometimes its worth usually its not. but all games have friendly fire.
