I’ve seen people leave the church because of clicks, and not being able to read for the Pastor, or being able to preach, or being able to lead in the choir, or made deacon, Missionary. But one thing they seem to have forgotten and why they even came to church in the first place. They should have come to serve the Lord, and praise the name of Jesus Christ, and to hear the Word of God. He who endures to the end shall be saved.

Oh, so, so powerful. I really needed to hear this during this first month of 2015. During my 39 years on this earth, I have learned that we can all lose our way, if we do not consistently stay grounded and rooted in Christ. It is preaching like this that reminds me of what's really important in life and what's not because it's easy for us to lean on our understanding.
