Hey man, you’re doing great. I’ve actually been watching all of your videos since day one. You’ve got all of the qualities of a really good golfer. You’ve improved a lot and you’re a young lad. Keep up the good work. Practice is key my man. Logging distance. Swing %. Lies. Golf is a frustrating game. Trust me I know. It took me 10 years to go from a 25+ handicap to a 12. I still feel like I suck 😂. Just have fun and love the hardest game you can play on the face of this earth. Keep the vids coming.

Great track! You don't need yardage for a challenging round. Don't get discouraged, those "executive" courses are tougher than usual _because_ they're shorter. When your technique has improved, but your score hasn't it's time to look closer at the mental aspect of this game. Aim for safety, wide open space, center of the green, *in play for an easy next shot.* Play to your strengths & confidence clubs. You'll drop 9 strokes without trying. Your putting is really pretty good so you don't even need to be close to the hole, just on the green... Plan your attack before you take the tee! Decide where you want to hit your approach shot from and what it takes to get there from the tee. - #2 tee was 100 (between ditch & bunkers) or 150 (back edge/over green). Those trees and bunkers are there for a reason, avoid them! - #4 tee was another 150 shot. Not getting there in one through that narrow gap, so layup to safety & leave yourself your favorite shot into the green. The 175y wood sent you through the landing area, where a 5/6i leaves you with an angle to the green. - #6 shows the same, but with a hybrid. It doesn't _feel_ great playing mid/short irons off the tee... but we're not feeling great about our game anyway, amirite? Shave strokes everywhere you can. Are ya done with that 60° yet? It's a real wimp out of the thick stuff ('cause it slides right under the ball).

The next few videos I’m recording are about ways to improve my score so hopefully some of this feedback translates

Right there with you, after knee and shoulder surgery I have to start over again. Can only do 9 holes so far due to pain increasing around that time. But I used to shoot a 38 give or take and now I am 50+ Where I used to use an 8 iron is now a 5 or sometimes a 4 iron

Sad to hear but positive is that you can still play I can’t go a day. Or thinking about golf atm lol

You have the physique and tempo of swing to be a more than decent golfer. Keep at it.

Dump the 60 degree and get yourself a chipper , you can putt ok and use the chipper like a putter when off the green .

Chippers are great but I personally don’t like the feel of them

If you are trying to break 50 on a 9 hole course, I would suggest you are being a bit hard on yourself. Use your handicap and think of the Par 3's as a Par 4 & think of the Par 4's as a Par 5. It will help you be a bit more relaxed when playing. Obviously aim for the greens on the Par 3; but if you fail to hit the green, chip on and think of it as a green in regulation and congratulate yourself.
