What does 4000 tulips looks like?! Harvesting, Storing, and Making a Tulip bouquet

In this video, I walk through the process of harvesting tulips. I get in close and show you what stage you want to pick your tulips at for cut flower arrangements. I show you that you want a little bit of color but that it is a little too late for storage if the tulip has alot of color. I also show you what stage looks to soon to pick your tulips!
After we harvest an armful of tulips, we go inside and store the tulips. I talk about what temperature to store them at and how long they last in the cooler.
Next, was the fun part, we make a tulip bouquet or tulip flower arrangement. Whatever term you like to use. I also put in some willow and added a ribbon to give it some extra flare. I have had people ask what else do. you put in tulip bouquets? I think willow is the perfect fit but I also think tulips can stand alone in an arrangement!

That's a lot of tulips! Does planting them all so close together also help keep their stems straighter and the plant itself more protected, I wonder? Your arrangement was lovely! And if I lived in Iowa, I would take an all-white tulip arrangement. I think that would be really pretty, too.

It definitely seems to help the middle of the pack… they are definitely more straight. The outer ones are fun for some movement though. ❤️ Thank you. 😊 I think the all white would look beautiful too! I just think everyone is ready for color after the winter. 🤷🏼‍♀️😁. I could be wrong! 🤔😃
