Yes! Bailey's body language (stiff legs, moving away from puppy to neutral spot, tense when puppy walks over/around him) and facial expressions show he's not thrilled with the puppy (snapping of head, avoiding eye contact, curling lip). If a person wasn't in the room, I wouldn't leave these two alone.

Janice Crose agreed! Speaking from experience, when i got our family a new puppy my older one was really jealous and depressed even if he acted gentle. We could sense a change in his behavior and it was a really sad time for him until we started to normalize the days for him by taking him out to his regular spots and stuff. I can’t ever imagine doing that to him again by bringing in so many new pets.. (not trying to bash the family, in reality they know their dog better than any of us and probably love him unconditionally)

I used to love watching your videos as it showed how happy and loved Bailey was and it helped me ease my anxiety attacks. But, watching this video just made me feel anxious. It was so obvious that Bailey wanted to be left alone. The puppy is so adorable but not to Bailey. You should have taken the puppy to another room and stopped Bailey from feeling stressed.

@@rickyspanish4792 you dont have to be a genius to see bailys body language in not just this but many other videos.... you can see excessive yawning from Bailey which is a clear sign of discomfort... you can see avoidance, you can see a dog that is not comfortable in a situation he's not comfortable with but owner forces him to stsy.... he's using his dog views ... I've worked with dogs for a long long long long time and using dogs for KZbin views when the dog is clearly not happy is pretty reprehensible

Bailey is superb. I had a Harry who was almost identical. Thank you for your lovely videos that have almost convinced me that I may be ready to ‘go again’ ( get another). It takes me years to get over the passing of a dog, but a life without one is not the same. Anyone who has known a Golden Retriever knows what an amazing breed they are.

It seems we all are animal lovers, indeed, yet we recognize that Bailey is being overwhelmed by SO many, and he is CLEARLY not as happy as he once was in other videos.
