Everyone needs to realize you can wrap vetwrap to tight easily. People have cut off the circulation on their animals legs with it wrapped to tight that can be very serious(worse than the original problem!) Be carful!

I'm a Texan. Most Texans carry a weapon, the rationale being, it's better to have a weapon and not need it than to need one and not have it. Same goes for "prepping" (preparedness).

Great product, I have been tempted a few times to buy those first aid kits from the "big box" stores and then I always wonder in a real emergency are they useful? So glad I never bought one. Knowledge and this kit is extremely valuable. Thank you for putting this together. Also I am LOVING the school!! Best money I have ever spent.

Vet Wrap was developed by Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing (3M) for use on animals. Once people realized how well it worked, they began using it for people. Whether the human version has a different name I don't know, but they're the same thing.

I can't purchase the big kit at the moment, but will be buying your book and also purchasing either the smaller kit or individual tinctures from your store. Enrolling in the school after I finish my other books. Been learning foraging and trying to dive into the medicinal side now, with someone who knows what they're talking about. So glad Homestead Family led me to you. And praise YHWH/Jesus, His counsel and gift of plants to us!

New to your channel, came from homesteading family! I'm just starting to get into herbals and prep/homesteading like a lot of people are. I don't want to lose up on a books but do want to have a couple that I can refer to should things get really bad, power goes out for long term, etc. Do you have some book recommendations for herbalism/health-trauma and prep?

0:40 I truly wish that statement was completely accurate... unfortunately even with my own family members they just can't see to prepare for the next day let alone down the road. This last year or two I've really done a deep dive into how we're living and what needs to change. Be that financial planning, being in my third year learning to garden, learning about identifying wild plants that grow around me, learning what's in our food and what we need to change to make our diets healthier, etc. it just amazes me the more i learn, the less i feel people TRULY know how unprepared they are and many just aren't concerned with any of it. Either way, I really enjoy all of your videos and the WEALTH of knowledge and experience you share freely on here.

So I thought I will buy your book, well $24.99 is 65 plus dollars , so I guess I'll watch your videos. I think I'm okay anyway I know about 10 plants outside I harvest and store to use for anything from tea, salves, oils and tinctures and I grow medicinal herbs I can't find outside. Anyway, I really enjoy your videos. thanks for all the valuable information you provide, especially the emergency kit .Have a beautiful Day. Love your humour. 👍🏽🙏🏽☺💖

Looks like you need to get with Dewalt or some other tool box maker to work with them to get the boxes for this "cheaper". I LOVE this kit, but would have build up to it. On the poor side. But I love the tinctures. Need to get some for pain & inflammation, the nerves in my thumb don't like regrowing after the rude way I decided to resize them. Lol

Oregano, basil, geranium, aloe Vera are 3 herbs were in the training course I took elsewhere and are good to have. Here in FL we have Beauty Berry growing, it’s good to rub the leaves on the skin as an insect repellent. We have Zika virus around here. Your kit looks interesting, especially for those who live in Hurricane country, tornado alley, or up in the blizzards of the north.

I know you hear this a lot. I’m on Social Security I’m 70 years old and have found out lately that things have gone wrong in my body. I can’t afford a kit so do you have a book that would tell me the herbs I need so I can grow my own and the ones I can’t get I can buy from you. I live in Florida so a lot of things I might be able to grow but if not I might be able to get them from someone who is physically able to do it. Right now in the last two weeks I’ve been told I have heart issues, thyroid issues, sugar issues ( I have long term covid) Arthritis and psoriasis. I think Covid triggered reactions to all of the other ones and I don’t know how where to get started. I would appreciate any help and advice you could give me

Herbs are really amazing but this makes me really sad.. im not a medical expert in any way but i think there is a lot missing.. things like salts and quick sugar for severe diarea or dehydration or some type of oil for for sunburn, cracked skin or frostbite for example.. i didnt see a belt to compres vains for severe bleeding either. Also the way it is organised is really not logical in my mind. A headlamp shouldn’t be at the most difficult place to reach..

Before Benadryl and Epi-pens we're invented, DMSO got me out of pre-shock from 40+ wasp & hornet bites/stings (from knocking the nest down as a kid). The ER would have been too late. The pain immediately decreased, shock went away, and the red spots were gone before I could show them to my friends (war wound bragging defeated). I tasted garlic for a few days, but no harm done. Glad there's a natural remedy to use instead, now. I'll have to look it up.

@@HomeGrownHerbalist Hydrophobicity of DMSO with its hydrogen bonding and methyl bonds can be beneficial for different remedies. However, DMSO has an oxidative effect and can cause other substances to break down and cause the composition to change continually over a long period of time. At least some mixtures have been found to produce sulfite and metabisulfite which can be extremely allergenic. It also inhibits cholinesterase, affects microtubules and microfilaments and releases histamine and nitric oxide. Furthermore it inhibits mitochondrial StAR proteins and is toxic in even as a low dose solvent.
