I'm having my first baby at the end of this month and this is the very first time I've heard or seen anything about delivering the placenta besides "it comes out after the baby". I was assuming it would be rather painless and just a big squishy whatever sliding out. I feel much more prepared after watching this

Yes!! A very under discussed part of birth, in comparison to a baby it’s much more manageable 🤣 with my first, the contractions were very mild & with my second they were much more intense. Every experience is so different!

I gave birth January this year and My placenta is in the freezer for 5 months now... I don't know what to do with it.

Plant it! In the bottom of a hole dug for a new tree or otherwise!

It saddens me that any woman is feeling those feelings... you literally just birthed a human being?!? You're a rockstar! I tried to go natural but I was in labor for 50 hours (I was having contractions every 4 minutes the last 44 hours & I was having back labor- it felt like my back was being crushed in a cardboard baler with every contraction) so at the 50 hour mark,, & at 5cm dilated I asked for an epidural. I was scared if it got worse I wouldn't be able to handle it. Then they said my blood pressure was dropping & I had to have an emergency c section. Although I don't believe it. They literally sat that to almost everyone that gives birth there. Literally everyone I know has been told that?!? 😡
