That is basically what this video is trying to answer. Blu-Ray is not only digital, but we have basically been figuring out how digital video content looks on analog TV since approximately 1996. Basically, a DVD player is just a converter box without an ATSC TV tuner.

We don't have analog TV Signals here in Brazil anymore, unfortunately. Now you need either a decoder or a raspberry pi to use those old boob tubes!

Don't need an eight minute video to show it's impossible to receive digital TV signals on analog TV. This video would be far more useful if it compared the digital TV to the analog TV with converter box.

You can still buy old ones in the USA. They don't make them anymore, but the ones that were made still exist. They just don't show anything anymore like the video explains.

Because it's just an older tv? Btw i live in the netherlands too, but even my 2009 and 2010 tv's still have analog. My main tv is a samsung tv from 2009 and it has analog.

@@RedTroPc Because analog signal was replaced with digital signal, they still transmit digital over the air, but you need a TV or antenna setup that can decode it. Radio frequencies don't care about "analog vs digital" it's just encoded data. Cell Phones, Wifi, TV, Radio Stations, it's all just radio frequencies with different encoding standards and frequency bands
