From 11 until 21 years old, I lived a life of badness. Every commandment of G-d I had broken, before I knew what they were. My purpose was being bad. Uneducated: I didn't start to read until I was 15 I lived in fear and hatred. I couldn't communicate with people. I was ashamed of being worthless. Now, I'm in my late 60s, listening to Rabbi Manis Friedman. I understood, and felt, everything he was saying.

When You were talking about the oneness of God and the desire for having a dwelling (30:00) I got the idea that the construction of the tower of Babylon Is not just a story of attacking God nor Exalting man above God which the end result is that God scatters Mankind across the Earth to disrupt Mans plans for exaltation of himself. Instead, it is what man's purpose should be, to become a single people in a single place with a single language and Striving To Work our way toward God in Oneness or at least bring God within an arrow's reach. The scattering of man across the Earth and separating the languages so we could not understand one another, was an act of giving man the purpose of striving to come together again in Oneness using our own voluntary will, it simply gave man purpose on earth. Lastly, In the scripture of one of the prophets, I want to say Micah or zephaniah (God said, I desire Holy offspring.) God wants us to multiply the Spirit of Life given to Mankind in order to create for God another Holy dwelling and Servant and for one simple reason......... Love! which is the beginning and the end for God's motivation of Creation.

HI, people, thanks for sharing this video, very interesting, I'm Muslim and if I can interact & share my thoughts, I would say the following: First the Big Idea, I can relate to it. elevate to the oneness of God, learn to elevate here to better understand each other, ok, fair enough, but I don't like the following --> He "needs" us to fulfill his "pleasure". it seems not good to me. ( will explain why below ). Ok, I can understand that God "wants" a special relationship ( that he couldn't find with the angels ) and yes, we are here to develop ourself to better relate and understand and be intimate, yes I do relate to this. But to say: He created everything and still we decide ( to accept him or not - free choice "ok" ) it's too arrogant from our side. No ! he's too proud to wait for our acceptance. . It should go like the following : From our side, by understanding his project ( purpose of life ) we have to ask him to accept us ( Hi God, Can you please please be our friend please ?! ) and he will see if it's possible ^^. I would love if we had this kind of preaching on Friday's mosk prays.

God created the central first , the mystery, then he divided it into two equal parts and laying down the law that everything has an opposite. It is up to us to find the balance . In Gods creation , nature and it's laws , which does God care for most , the predator or the prey ? We humans are so vain , it's not just about us , it's about all of creation and we must find our way within the solid laws of nature , the laws of God . What does God want us to chose? I feel it in my soul , the desire towards the positive , compassion , empathy, knowledge and humility.

I admire people who can speak hours about things based on religious bullshit, old men writings from the desert times, etc and keep to seem wise all the time :-) Passing false "knowledge" in a seemingly logical way, having based it on other's people "knowledge" that was based on what ancient few old men invented as a "knowledge' of the "god's will" .... is a big skill :-) Weak people listen with open mouths ... :-)

thank you rabbi, yes your right, it is because want's a real meaningful relationship with me like no other human being want's or can give and so i give in to his desire of me though my response is sorrowfully shamefully nothing in comparison to his love for me, i shamefully admit. i mean do really love him way beyond anyone else but when i consider how he feel's about me there's no comparison at all, or rather it doesn't match up to his, but he is so wise and inderstanding, knowing that i'm only his creation and what i'm made of that he also knows that it is impossible for me to love him so as he truely deserves. i wish i could give him what he deserves but know that that's impossible because of what i am, my love is mearly a feeble reponse to his love and want of me, but his still my farther and i do love him, not because he's god but because he love's me and has shown me that over and over again, faithfully he has, i wish i could be as faithful amd loving as he's been to me, a better farther i could not ask for, i w just wish i could be a better son.
