This brother addresses some vital points in this presentation. The back and forth parts become tedious to listen to and precious concentration time can be saved for the recipient not having to mentally deal with such. Furthermore, such apparent suggested dialogue with The Almighty God has a danger side of blaspheming (through suggesting we see ourselves as having a “pop” entitlement to bring The Lord to our level of thinking - and this must not happen, we are not to elevate ourselves or fall into such temptation! We are not to tempt the Lord - Matthew 4:7. We ought to be careful, very careful to assume The Lord God has a sense of humour like westerners and/or easterners do.

I think that a man can submit to or cast himself upon the LORD's care, without having any confidence that God will do him good. However, I think that "trust" implies an expectation of good, which leads me to conclude that "trusting God" must be counting on him to do you good. What's critical is that you do NOT make the mistake of trusting him for something Scripture never says he will deliver on. So, what goodness of God does Scripture tell us to expect? Is it only in death? Or in the resurrection? Or is there yet goodness to hope for in the land of the living? What if we are already at death's door? These are my questions.
