Hi Mr Order Flow, thank you for your videos. I have been finding discrepancies in my P&L. If I use a Volume stop to be triggered if volume goes below a certain number, does the fill happen at that price or the one after? Thank you

If does if you are using a volume limit or volume stop. Sometimes you may get some slippage with the stop, but if you use a limit you will then get out at that price but run the risk of no fill. Hope that makes sense mate. Many thanks

You are correct, and it is a mental game, large firms are trying to keep their hand hidden, shake people out, and take their money. How would you spot a diff between days like last Friday (when ES came back in the range) and the days when it keeps dropping.

I use market profile and volume profile for context for that specific day. If we are in complete balance for the day, then there is a higher probability we are going back in the range than seeing a breakout. Also, with a breakout you need to see aggressive action and the opposing direction being pulled for a breakout to sustain. The clues are in the day type and the order book 🙂

You need to be aware of your competition with every business. Seeing the OrderFlow gives you a clue as to where large firms are getting involved. Ultimately, you are looking to join them and keep your risk tight per position

I've been looking for a lifestyle change and been looking into trading for a very long time and demo trading for about 3 years. I've been looking for that mystical cryptic that they call Edge; it's like looking for a unicorn in a random forest. Your video makes a lot of sense and I'm going to be studying it though I'm currently looking into trading crypto like Bitcoin, a lot of your theories are sound and I'm sure is could be related to crypto trading as well.

How do you manage risk?

Hey mate, it depends on the trade, however, if you are taking a sweep back into the range, then the trade is invalid if it breaks below the sweep low. If the trade is not going in your favour in a set amount of time then start to be cautious :) It is always better to take a scratch than a full stop if the trade is not doing what you are expecting.

I do scale into positions when it goes in my favor, but I prefer to be all out of a position rather than scaling out. In my opinion, scaling adds an extra layer of complication, and life is easier if you are just all in and all out. Adding to a losing position is a killer, unless you have accounted for adding.
