Kansas City fan and resident. You called him Zam, so I will to. Zam is a inspiring young man. It takes heart to do what he's doing. I hope he does well. Coach Reid is the BEST at finding/using talent. Can't wait to see him at training camp(I'm going). Don't really follow rugby but I follow passionate people/stories. Respect to you guys. I'll subscribe. Take care. I'll be watching 👍🏼

You got to give it to rees zammit he is a brave courageous kid,he knows iff he floops he is in for a roasting, for that courage alone you got to give him propps,to get through all that training for the first time ever holding a stanger shape ball 🏈 than the previous ball he plAyed with.toataly alien to the way rugby played, then to go on on to get through those 12 weeks is some achievement, then to get 7 clubs wanting your signature is amazing.then he signed for the 3 time supper bowl champion s🏆 is some dream, the rest is now is in his hands,.i think he will go on to make his dream come true.look at what this kid achieved all by the time he is 23,,just staggereing.good luck to the welsh dragon wales are behind you.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👏👏👏👏

Rico Ioane in his prime would have made RLZ look slow. Remember him getting clocked at 38kph in a super rugby game.

League player Jarred Hayne is the oft-forgotten rugby to NFL case study. He actually made the 53 man roster and got some regular season touches for the 49ers. If LRZ can consistently catch punts or kickoffs without fumbling, I think he could stick. Statistically, Hayne was a decent running back but dodgy catching kicks. Thus the reason he went right back to the practice squad.

And now he is serving a 4 year prison sentence for sexual assault.

Well I wasn't comparing LRZ to Hayne with regard to lifestyle. Yes, he's now "catching" behind bars.

@keoniwright3647 LRZ will need to change his running style/ technique. He is to upright. Needs a low centre of gravity running style, if he wants to be a running back that is, and the chiefs website lists him as a running back, not any other position. According to some long time football analysts Haynes downfall was mostly down to his running style which didn't fit in with NFL requirements no matter how good it was or looked in rugby. LRZ could well find himself facing this exact same issue. He is tall at 6'3" and I can't see him being able to change his running style to that required of a running back. In rugby he never used to run through or over people either, he wasn't big enough. Can really only see him being used as a punt returner unless he puts on a lot more weight and completely changes his running style. If he runs upright like he does now he will get battered.

@@user-nk9cw5md8l When examining Hayne's path to receiving actual playing time, it's also important to note the reality of his elevation to the 53-man roster. A major injury crisis opened the door for Hayne. With regard to running style though, LRZ is a project. Might not happen this year or next, but in three years' time he could adjust his running style. But, as with contenders in the NBA not having the wiggle room to truly develop and envelop draft picks, LRZ might fall victim to the fact that the Chiefs are a bloody good team. Hayne's 49ers were not contenders. On the flip side, what an environment to learn the game!
