No one describes things quite the way Kyle does... He could make eating a sandwich sound wild and hilarious! I loved the room zoom out touch - complete with an enigmatic "wooooooaaaaahhhhhh" :) Good story teller! PS - truly sorry to hear about your beloved Dog Gemma man.. :( Immortalised in the Sober Dog intro

They gave me ketamine when i dislocated my shoulder for the 20th time and couldn't pop it back in place. waited in the ER for 5 hours before I got a bed , gave me some ketamine and I felt like I was out my body and was speeding through a tunnel in my mind at light speed. Did not feel any pain at all while the ER nurse was twisting my arm all sorts of directions trying to put it back in place. It was a trip to say the least

In my country, it is common to mix ketamine with cocaine.... And it is becoming a trend to add mdma and opioids to the mix.

I took it alone and i.v. , and I was addicted to it , but not physically. I loved the K-hole experiences, to be inside the space between life and death. I had almost no fear. If there was fear at all it was after that and the fear was to miss the vein and shoot it into my arm, which can get dangerous!

I tried this therapy. Then I got lambasted by my AA group. They believed I lost my sobriety. That was 10 years ago and I never went to another meeting again. Still clean

Sounds like a near death experience that people report. I would not subject my brain to that. Plus why would this be legally prescribed? Hope there’s no residual brain damage from this.

It certainly feels like your dying when taking at a therapeutic dose, like your brain is shutting off section by section, had to take anxiety meds intravenously since I was starting to freak out in front of the nurse. After that it felt like I was semi conscious. I believe ketamine speed up my healing journey 70-80% (I was nearly clinically insane at the time taking it, mentally near collapsed, like the neural pathways in my brain was in knots and emotionally switching emotions each second, felt like my mind was riding a balance beam 24/7, after the few weeks of treatment I was somewhat stable and feeling less catatonic)

Not brain damage but with repeated use some struggle with knowing which is reality (the high or normality) It has been linked to bladder damage. I've done it numerous times and had the room expand round me but that ended up with me going into the K Hole. I honestly thought I'd OD'd as I'd done Heroin that day too (I had a 20 year addiction) but after the initial panic I just accepted it at peace. Then things went crazy in my brain, hard to describe but a insane trip. Proper hallucinations, out of body floating high above my self. I was sitting in front of my wife at the time in front of the TV. When I came out of it maybe 30mins to an hour later I asked her what I was doing or saying. She just said I was staring at the TV not moving and said "woah!" and that was it. It was THE most @#£%ed up I'd ever been on a drug! I did it numerous times after that but never went back into the K Hole instead finding a happy medium of a trippy look to everything, time stretching and overall very enjoyable.
