i dont think people understand how much of Ru was Mathu's vision and creation. It's not by accident that Ru is wearing clothes from her archive and took 2 seasons to look "right" again: it's taking raven AND delta that long to get it correct. It's a shame that Ru didn't value Mathu's work or even just as a human being. i hope Mathu is ok and happy

Rupaul has all the money, clout, signs the checks, etc and Mathu literally created Rupaul's drag but doesn't ever get the credit beyond people who know of his work. Rupaul has never publicly gave him the credit and when the emmy nomination wrongfully went to raven and delta, he still didn't correct it - that's how I know he doesn't value Mathu's work, which tells you everything else you need to know about Rupaul. Don't assume everyone else is as ignorant as you about the situation. If you care so much, go look it up yourself. Just because you don't know, doesn't mean "there is 0 information on the situation" lmao

Nacho he is currently in hospice care with HIV. It has been a widespread hidden rumor that Mathu is HIV+. Rupaul and WOW were paying for his care (they’ve probably stopped now, as Medicaid has taken over).

Libi Uremovic he was super sick for a while if not still is. Him and Ru from what I heard are no longer friends. They had some sort of falling out. If I remember correctly it was season 9 (maybe 8? Pretty sure 9 though) episode 1 where it was his last time doing Ru and than Raven and Delta took over. Mathu is a pretty private fellow. I hope him light and happiness.

The main answer is: sick. He is/was sick last we heard from the race chasers podcast from Willam’s own mouth. That’s not a rumour that’s our latest update on him. Nobody knows WHY Rupaul and Mathu had their falling out. Like I just said Mathu is a pretty private dude. I wasn’t sure if you knew the timing of when and that Rupaul and him aren’t friends anymore.
