I switched to the cluster setup. I had to give up some crit chance to do it though, but still gained some DPS. Does the Fan of Blades extra projectile also translate to more boss DPS? I'm also using tinctures, but I'm using a Culling Strike with with the rage modifier. I get 50 rage in big boss fights pretty much all the time, so I quite like it.

Extra projectiles won't do anything for single target dps if you have more than 2 (as far as I know).

@@Tuadh. Oh okay, thanks. I think I lost a tiny bit of DPS by switching to a cluster setup then, haha. I mostly just gained a projectile. I do have more DPS with the cluster setup if the brittle on my boots gets applied, but that's very circumstantial.

@@Tuadh. Hey man, I did some PoB'ing. It looks like the cluster setup you have in your endgame setup is mostly worth it if you are either level 100 or if you have a good double mod Watcher's Eye as one of the jewels, without those the regular tree is more damage with one less projectile. I don't have a good Watcher's Eye yet (need 20div) and won't get to level 100 unless I do 5-ways, so I dropped the clusters for now. I also kind of struggled with mana sustain without the flat mana nodes.

I do -mana jewelry to fix mana issues. Best cluster jewel setup is probably 12 nodes with attack speed, 35% increased effect of small passives nodes and dexterity. Very expensive to craft. My cluster setup is just mostly for +1 additional proj.
