What does the Strange Capsule do? Now that we finally made one spawn I thought it would be fun to experiment with it to see if it does anything. Other than breaking open after a few days nothing seems to change that I could find,,

The internal event code for it is "cropCircle" (according to the SV Wiki), maybe it will have some affect to large Wheat fields? Well, that's what I think at least since crop circles are usually found in wheat fields

We see the Alien ship on some nights, but there appears to be no correlation to the UFO event. We know that the Galaxy sword comes from a Prismatic Shard We know that the Prismatic Shard is of "Unknown Origins" Those are the only outer space references I can think of in the game. Things to try: Capsule in between the desert pillars Using a shard on a capsule Breaking it open with a Galaxy Sword Putting one in the Adventurers Guild to see if it gets on the board giving one to Krobus

In a scene in a heart event with Sebastian the one with Sam and him playing a game a scene came up where you have to pick a side where you could go (1 the hallway which is where the capsules are and 2 the staircase ) so when you walk into the hallway which is glowing green there were 3 capsules like the ones you have, but the ones in the scene were glowing and had people in it...

maybe you have to be awake when it happens. put one in your house and just wait a while for the capsule to open. also keep an eye out for any new npcs, the capsule maybe made a clone or something. the blob kinda looks like a giant fetus.

Aside from that, try checking to see if it interacts with any of the alien themed items in the game (UFO event, rarecrow, ext) Also try having it free/placed in all event days, specifically the "Dance of the moonlight Jellies"

It might worth a try to ask, between Demitrius and Gunter or Kent for it. Kent was in war and maybe this little creature is from the enemy folks. Also the idea to try out in winter might get us to something. I did a little research adn found out on the german wiki (i'm german) that this Capsule has the intern Code "cropCircle" wich could mean a lot of things. Maybe it likes a special Crop. I would try the Acient Fruit or some artisan fruits first or something you just get on a festival (strawberrys). Circle may be a hint that it should be placed in the circle on the market place in the middle of the town or it also could mean to log something up like build a fence around it. (Maybe it couln't escape then). Or it means circile it into crobs like those wich you couln't pass. Beans and Hops etc..

Maaaaybe if you keep it in your inventory until winter then let it spawn in the snow, maybe it would leave tracks. You should also put it back in the same spot it spawns JUST IN CASE, like how Krobus leaves tracks in the winter in a specific place. Edit: Also, did you try putting it on the unused mountain summit?

I have to know what comes out of the capsule! I'd be interested to see you put the capsule in your bedroom, then block the exit with stuff. See if the "released" being can move shit out the way/demolishes stuff to get out, or if that will block them from getting out. You could also spawn 9 capsules and put them in a 3x3 square in your bedroom and block the exit at the same time. Will the one in the centre be released? Can it escape through two obsticles? Also, does Dangerously Funny stream on Twitch? I'd love to watch a live stream of his Stardew Valley antics lol. x

I would suggest applying otherworldly items to the capsule, like Rare Discs, Dwarf Gadgets, Prismatic Shards, Iridium (ore and/or bars), Stardrops, Lemon Stones, Star Shards, etc. It may also help to leave the capsule with an otherworldly force before it breaks, for example, you could leave the capsule next to Krobus in The Sewers, by The Dwarf in The Mines, or near The Wizard in The Wizard's Tower.

in main menu, press 'e' ten times to have the 'e' in stardew go away, revealing an alien waving to you for a couple seconds. ',:) i think doing that either on the day of arrival or day of departure of the blob could trigger the 'secret event'

I'd recommend trying the Dwarf. There's a book in the library that explains a theory that the Dwarves are actually aliens. Maybe the home planet is trying to contact them? Also, is it possible that the capsule registers as a gift with some character and not with others? Try everyone if that's a possibility! Can't wait to see what you find out!

Some ideas: Wasn't there a secret note we didn't know what meant? Perhaps that's a clue Maybe deep inside the skull cavern? What if you placed the capsule in the middle of the 3 pillars in the desert? That's been involved with space before. What happened with that weird stardew valley secret squiggle thing? Perhaps it's a map to where the blob is hiding. See if there's something different with pam... Oh yeah and put the capsule in the fair and the soup

You said that the time since capsule spawn to capsule being broken shortened. Maybe you have to place one, wait for it to hatch , place another one and it will hatch sooner, repeat until something happens maybe.
