The newest banner for Rivendell has a 8 pointed Star on it. So did the horse here. So I think its Gil-Galad. And Numenor is famous for 5pointed stars. Even Arnor has fivepointed Stars on their shields.

Wouldn’t mind more of these videos when upcoming content is about to be released, it drives up speculation and it’s fun. Also really like your pro tournament videos, they’re a lot of fun. A possible change may be having your 8 champions play each other once each (hard to find time I’m sure) and eventually the winners with most wins go through while others are eliminated. This way we could see different lists competing against each type so viewers can see different strengths and weaknesses that may not have been aware of :)

My guesses are in approximate order 1) Gil-galad (star is the same as the Banner that plastic Elrond came with) 2) Elendil or 3) Anarion.

The last alliance battle took 12 years, in the movie we only saw the last part on the slopes of Mount Doom. Also the quote with the tease was from ROP. Why not a LL all mounted second age? Wouldn't be surprised to see that (along with LL all infantry on slopes of Mt Doom)

All of those are sweet options. I just dropped a video going no in depth for an Arnor update. I'm torn between wanting Last Alliance or Fall of Arnor. Totally agree with you about the Get off the Road diorama. Thought that was a curious choice.

There was a strange quote in the same article which has now been deleted which said..."There is one Secret Worth Concealing with Deception…" its now been deleted because it was from Elrond in Rings of Power and when combined with those stars in the image... people started to work out what it all meant.

That horse looks like gondorian. If the Fall of Arnor thesis is true, the new model may be Earnur, the prince of gondor that lead the expeditionary force to aid Arnor against the Witch-king. We already got a new plastic Elrond, Glorfindel and Witch-king, it have sense that the last missing piece of the Arnor wars is Earnur.

I love these videos 😊 About the options: I'm still new to the game so I don't know what to think 😅 Fun fact: I thought Boromir wasn't interesting because I can't use him with Aragorn, and I thought Aragon is the best model in the Minas Tirith army, so I didn't think people would prefer Boromir over Aragorn. Let alone being Boromir the most popular model of the game 🤣

Númenor had a bunch of horses, but in Unfinished Tales there is a line about how the horses were overseas (at the time?) and so were not used in battle. It's unclear whether that's a universal statement about Númenor all the time, or whether it was just an instance of a time when Númenoreans didn't have their horses handy. There are Knights of Númenor, and a knight without a horse feels a little strange, so presumably sometimes they used their horses in battle? Either way, I'd prefer Boromir, but could see it being Arnor cavalry.

Seven stars are a symbol of the heirs of Isildur, so I'm leaning towards Aragorn or a Numenorean.

Could be either of them, or it could be a new Nazgul model. One of them, The Dark Marshall, was Numenorean.

The glorfindel model would work with both a last alliance supplement and a fall of angmar supplement, but more so an angmar one

Greetings, I believe it'll be mirkwood cavalry as the star features on the horse is used on the shield of mirkwood elves in the movies. Also mirkwood elves also have experience with horses as legolas is seen on countless occasions comforting a horse. Moreover in the MESBG, the mirkwood heroes ride cavalry. So I think k it's mirkwood cavalry (which would be awesome)

They might make 2 legendary legions like Dale , one with Gil galad and Elrond and numenorians as you spoke and another just numenor where this cavalry and mounted heroes could make sense if a suplementos of last alliance is gonna pop off doesn’t make sense just 1-2 LL but 4-5 as in the others books.

Could also be Eärnur (later last king og Gondor), when he leads the Gondorian task force to Arnor and defeats the Witch King with help from Cirdan and Glorfindel. Other than that I would guess Elendil because the horse´s mask looks like the one on Isildur´s horse

Yes I had the same thoughts. It’s a man, Numenor. Just whether it’s Elendil or numenorian cavalry. I don’t think it’ll be Anarion because he doesn’t have a profile so I think they’d wait until the supplement (though it wouldn’t be the first time). Similarly, releasing numenorian cavalry would be a bit random. Elendil however, would be a really cool trailer for the supplement and a worthy stand alone.

I mean Glorfindel does tie to The Last Alliance, so that would make sense IMO. As well as Elrond. LA is by far the most likely imo.

I think there's just one possibility you might have missed. Earnur was the last king of Gondor, he was involved in the Angmar wars but he got to Arnor too late to prevent the collapse of the kingdom. This could be him too I think

I agree anarion may not have the most mass appeal but he is certainly of interest to lotr fans. Given the ties between minas tirith renamed as such from minas anor (named after anarion) after minas ithil was captured by Mordor and renamed minas morgul. At the very least, he'd be another option for a limited numenor list Please GW, give numenor some expensive tank infantry, they're only 7 foot tall behemoths who were supposedly superior to everyone else in middle earth

That said, the mention of anarion (?spelling?) in the profiles book makes me think just a supplement as it would be a little weird to go a whole edition without fulfilling all that’s in the books before going to the next version

They aren't brittle at all. Typically they are more flexible than plastic so are lightly more durable.

Its definitely Anarion. Elendil's second son, he's been mentioned before in the Numenor army list. Plastic Numenor spear and bowmen would be amazing but i highly doubt it

Each model, you've listed that already has mounted version would be a huge missed opportunity from GW side in my opinion... If supplement comes later in the year they should use time to fill in some troops choices for armies that are missing mounted options.

the 'simple' star armour of horse's face is not suitable for a Gil Galad model or anything similar. just keep in mind Asfaloth armour. aragorn cannot be just simply is not wearing a tree. Arnor 100%. in fact, cavalry normal model, too simple for a hero.

Making Gil-Galad part of the Rivendell army shouldn't offend me as much as it does. He is the High King of the Noldor, ruler of the nation of LINDON. Not Rivendell. Frikim frakim freakim frake. In the past some of there kits, particularly large tanks were terrible and had huge issues with warping. The kits such as the iron hills have issues with floppy spears, however the more recent kits are easily some of the best in the world
