Will WN penalize you for unbundling and making new boxes? That is my fear to lose money on shipping. Have not done a show yet. I am currently making a list of my stock and weighing items (with packing material). When I list the items, I have no way to tell if they will fit in any specific box considering the customer may buy more than 1 item. I understand you can switch box size and have 3 "free" adjustments....but when do those adjustments apply? I mean if they buy 10 stuffed animals and weight ends up being 10 lb, I need 5 boxes, am I looking to be penalized? How do I know they paid enough shipping? I am trying to be precise with shipping and learn all I can. It just seems SO confusing.

@@stayhometoshop I did and that’s why I asked. Have you run into this? If so, do you set a limit on how many items can go into each box? How do you determine? It seems like doing that every single time is going to be really difficult. I’m not sure how people do this? This is what gives me the most stress. The items I am going to be selling fall into all different categories, plush, figurines, miscellaneous decor, toys, etc.. I imagine that I would constantly have discrepancies seeing as you have no idea what your buyer will purchase. Even if the weights are correct, if they don’t all fit in the same box you are paying. Right?

@carend7010 Thank you for your follow up! I will upload a new shipping video very soon with the 1/19 USPS price changes. You are welcome to attend "The Ship Show" seller support on whatnot. It's always Thursday 1 pm EST every other week. Next episode is 1/23. Get feedback from sellers in different categories. I don't tell anyone how to run their business. Modify your shipping profile as you sell more. I hope this helps you sell more on whatnot...Thank you!!

Im still not sure how to set up my shipping. I will be selling clothes, shoes, purses all at random pulls and all different weights. How would I set that up?

So I can’t use any poly bag in shipping in whatnot? Poly bag for 20lbs?

Thanks for your comment! I think you mean "can use" and as far as I know...poly-mailers can be used but heavy items might tear and get damaged. I hope this helps you sell more on whatnot!!

WARNING: Be very wary of buying on whatnot! I received two large orders of jewelry, both orders have missing pieces! One order (of several hundred dollars) hadn't been shipped yet, I bought on 1/11, just says "label created", and the seller is refusing to respond. Bought several pairs of The Bravest Studio shorts...no tags whatsoever. Clearly fake! Oh, and one pair is missing. I've spent over $1,600 and probably will only get a few hundred dollars worth in resell potential. It appears that "customer service" heavily leans in favor of the SELLER. Let my very expensive mistake be a warning to you guys. Just trying to help people from getting scammed. Thanks for reading this. Shipping...bought an alternator car part, for $6....what was I charged after shipping? $96!!!!!!!!!
