Thanks for the video, I think I'll try Oxford's 1993 edition that uses 1922 text + a separate commentary

I bought the old Bodley Head hard - back version in Dublin Antiquarian book sellers ( like yours ) and the binding is superb. Open it on any page and it flops down flat, ready to read. However, I love it so much I didnt want to wreck it bringing it around in the car ect. So I bought the Penguin green spine, soft - back version for general knockabout reading. Although it's soft - back, I notice all the pages are stitched as well as glued - unlike that flimsy Gebler edition.

@@martinfrench4890 It's an incredible reading! Has really helped me on some of the harder parts my second time through. I highly recommend it for anyone having trouble with the novel.
