For those wondering: Yes she needs to have a lot of arm strength, but there is a very specific way to wrap your arm/hand. It helps prevent breaking your bones and it gives you more control of yourself and the rope. It also depends on how you lift off the ice as well. Body movement plays a factor

It’s not a harness, it’s an aerial strap. Basically the entire time Isabella is flying she is holding onto 4 straps total coming from two loops. When Mirabel joins her they are pulling the straps apart and holding each of themselves from one of the sets. You can think of an aerial strap kind of like a super skinny hammock.

As a middle child myself, I find it funny so many think Isabella is younger (than Luisa) but it just goes to show how much responsibility can fall on us. Sometimes it's on the eldest but since my brother was first, my mom dumped what she considered female duties like cleaning and babysitting onto me and he had to freedom to go and do what he wanted whenever. My little sister was spoiled. She knew my mom wouldn't ask her to help out and she took advantage if that. Isabella was extremly favoured as the first and clearly treated like a princess, like my bro. Her cousin, Dolores, wasn't even that far behind but she was still neglected in comparison

There's actually a special and specific way to wrap your hand that gives you a crazy amount of control while dangling and being swung. It's a safe way that avoids breaking your arm should something happen. You still need grip strength but it also depends on how you lift off as well. Lots of other factors

I love Isabella. I relate to her most as the oldest sibling. I know my younger sibling kind of resents me for the praise I get, but i suffer with imposter syndrome all the time because I constantly have to meet high standards otherwise I don’t feel good enough. On the surface I seem to be setting the bar high to achieve but I’m really not perfect. Neither is Isabella. I love this scene where they both come together and realise that ❤️
