I keep hoping for more Rigurd and we ended up getting his son, but at the very least it’s a brand new character to get more gems in Interact, same reason I’ll go for Maribel Rozzo.

I think Maribel can be ok depending on character 2 and 3 (throw in a shizuka like unit). If that ones generic enough I might just go for that single banner. But what you missed is that against a ST stage (which is most of the game) she only stacks 15% weakness strike.... renard does a lot more than that. Idol Rimurus Magic attack and invincibility for one force is far more powerfull. Vengeance especially against aoe has a more powerfull win condition as well. That lumi revive skill will be hell if it ever activates in later ranked valor battles on defense teams....

It's ridiculous how they nerfed other banners for the beatdown battle. I'm really curious how you can beat "easily" extreme 1& 2 battles without this new banner.

He's probably gonna make a video on that soon. Up to EX2 you can usually brute force it in many ways. Summer Memories, Tempest Elite (no pierce), Overlord, NYB and most blue stacking teams should be able to do it.

@@velgard. Yeah thanks, it was effectively ok with voc. I still find that the nerf is a little too much on this beatdown battle and limit a lot the team that can be used in these battles.

I just used Pretty Sparkle with EC Veldora because they actually have attribute advantage and Invincibility is OP. EC Veldora actually being able to keep up with the green debuff is so hilarious. Properly set up you can even clear all Inferno 3 missions with Idol team + EC Veldora.

As a lumi fan unfortunately every time they release lumi as a battle character they always mess up. They did a good job on lumi as a protection character.

Ya you bring up a really good point that I overlooked initially, Lumi's guts can only be used ONCE-PER-BATTLE. Therefore, it is only going to give you 3 extra turns in the best case scenario. It is WAY less powerful than Idol Rimuru's invincibility that can be activated MULTIPLE times per battle. Along with the fact her orb change limits her to blue-teams only AND your team mates need to be fire and earth to work. It makes her a rather hard unit even to tech into another meta. Because of all these, I agree that Lumi (while interesting on paper) is not really that strong. Her cons just outvalue her pros sadly... As for Maribell, ya if Renard isn't strong when he is stacking weakness strike+ ult resist down. Maribell isn't going to be an offensive powerhouse...

And if you thought it couldn't get worse for this meta, Idol team with EC Veldora actually can beat Inferno 3 lmao. Even factoring the 75% Green debuff, Veldora just doesn't care.
