As a Vikings fan, I could not agree more about the interior offensive line comment. Regardless of who the QB is, they absolutely need a stellar offensive line. You want to develop JJ? Improve the interior O line. You want to keep Sam Darnold (really do not want to do this)? Improve the interior O line. You want to be able to consistently run the ball? Improve the interior O line. I would be willing to sacrifice so many other aspects of the team for a great O line.

@@powerpanda557yeah dude their entire podcast leading up to the afc championship game was literally just about how much better the Bills were than the Chiefs and how it was basically the Bills game to lose. And in hindsight its hilarious because the Chiefs were clearly the better team on the field from start to finish of that game

K.K. for the Seahawks is a great hire, from my eye this season there were too many times when the offence flat lined games, Seattle has the pieces on offence & defence + one or two players, and have to stay healthy on defense
@surfrenegade2610 күн бұрын
The Buccaneers strategy will be the exact same as the Eagles last offseason: DEFENSE. We already have an offense that can score at will against anybody. Between Free Agency we will get an elite edge rusher, at least 1 new starting LB, and at least 1 new starting corner. We fill those 3 positions and there is no reason we should not be considered Super Bowl contenders next year.

As a Commanders fan I would love Khalil Mack and Chris Godwin. I agree with Mina, I want good defensive players and that would be my priority. I am in the phase with Adam Peters and Dan Quinn that I am going to trust them regardless of what moves they made, but Mack seems perfect because he can both pass the rusher and set the edge against the run. I feel like the team did okay at generating some pass rush but really struggled against the run. With Godwin I feel like getting a good slot receiver could compliment Terry McLaurin on the outside well. Don't get me wrong Tee Higgins would be great, but I feel like there is going to be a bidding war for him that will require a long term commitment and top dollar (35 million APY) whereas Godwin is probably going to be like 3 years 70 million a year (23.3 million APY) and probably takes a deal a year shorter giving you more flexibility in the future. Third I would like to get a replacement for Benjamin St. Juste who I'd probably let leave in free agency. Maybe not a super expensive guy, I know they liked Isaac Yiadom last offense season and he would be a nice budget signing there.

What is the NFL looking for in their overall game, more scoring or less, the way that the offensive lineman is hampered in the way they line up it greatly favors the defense, i believe this is the reason for more injuries, more combinations, 2nd & 3rd string O-linemen inserted into the game

31:20 I'm not quite sure why were just overlooking SF here. They did have a down year while struggling with their 2 best offensive weapons (one of which is probably a top 10 weapon in the league) not being healthy at all. Vegas currently has them at the second highest early SB odds. Almost double the odds of DET or BAL.

Pittsburgh has already announced they are separating from Russell Wilson, but that means keeping Justin Fields on a short-term deal. They will try to develop Justin Fields to be successful but if not, next year they draft a new QB. Tagging Sam Darnold would be a huge cost for Minnesota, I doubt very much they do this as Mina suggested. Other options mentioned are open, however. Bucs pass defense is definitely the weakness, and drafting so far has not solved the problem as new players are going to be cut such as OLB Joe Tryon-Shoyinka. Lavonte David has aged out of the position. Bucs are looking definitely at the Rams for their OC, but also looking at Chip Kelly at Ohio State which was not mentioned. Great show as always.

For the Baltimore Ravens, their biggest issue is MENTAL and lack of discipline. They aren't losing due to lack of talent or playcalling. Lamar Jackson needs to seek counsel from Tom Brady in the off-season. Its ok to seek help and the team needs a sports psychiatrist. There is no shame in that in order to stay calm and poised in big moments. Furthermore, a lack of discipline is a direct reflection on the head coach. This has been said for many years by Ravens fans who call Harbaugh the Doc Rivers of the NFL. The Eagles eventually moved on from Andy Reid and it wasn't because he was bad, but his time had run its course in Philly, and both organizations, the Eagles and Chiefs, are world-class. Lets not forget what the Ravens were from 2013-2017 under Harbaugh pre-Lamar. In conclusion, Ravens fans continuously hear from their GM we have a chip on our shoulder, and we will return with a vengeance at the end of season presser the last 5 seasons and they are over it.

This is laughable nonsense on so many levels. Saying it’s not playcalling when they abandon the run and their identity in these big games is ridiculous. Last year only 6 run plays in the AFCCG and the fewest designed runs overall in Lamar’s career and you do vs Chiefs defense whose only weakness was against run and you do so in a torrential downpour in the rain. This year you have best playoff RB of last 25 years in Derrick Henry and you abandon run on goaline to call trick play to your offensive tackle, you have no designed runs for Lamar the whole game and you trust Mark Andrews over Derrick Henry in big game. BTW Mark Andrews is the playoff choker that Lamar gets blamed for. QB passer rating when targeting Andrews goes from 111 in regular season to 48. Meanwhile Likelys goes up. Every other receiver including backups of backups stepped up over Andrews. And every year Lamar gets blamed for Andrews selling the team

@truthbearer7891 No what I said was factual. The Bills did a good job on Derrick Henry. Justin Hill got off in the 2nd half. As a Lamar fan I recognize that Lamar threw an interception that set the tone for the entire offense. You can't do that as the leader. Lamar also owned up to it post game and took 100% accountability which as a Ravens fan I respect. As far as Mark Andrews he is a poor postseason performer. The question is why? Which I answered in my initial commentary. Have a blessed day and try not to get so worked up and disrespectful in the comments.

47:25 are the Vikings not a healthy organization? I feel like they kinda are… They rank #1 every year in the NFLPA survey, they have a good GM, a great head coach, and a roster with mostly young talent and a few veterans that need to be replaced. Luckily they have a ton of cap space to do so
