Listening to the album song after song I just kept thinking this is Rema's version of Yeezus na, then when I heard the begining of War Machine, I was like this is his version of Bound na (but then the beat changed and my theory wasn't so perfect again). But overall even if you don't like the sound of the album as a fan of music you have to respect him for exploring beyond the norm. That just vibing sound in most afrobeats can be so tiring, we shouldn't let the west box the whole of Africa into just one sound.

My favorite songs are currently Heis and War Machine. I think those are the only two songs that I can get into currently. I love the production of them. Heis sounds very Northern, Indian for me and I love it. How he merges the chaotic-ness of the drums and the soothing voice of the chorus vocals and the violins. And his voice fitting nicely in the middle. It's like a soundtrack to an Indian war movie, and I'm just here for it. War Machine also sounds great, the drum pattern on the instrumentals also slaps. The rest weirdly sound generic to me, and it just has instruments that are not in the conventional beats of this type. Maybe I will understand it in the future but now dierrr naaah.

Great review. Please I would love if you come back and give an update of what you think about it in the future.I’m curious to know how it goes for you. For me, the album got better after each listen. I began to understand each sound better and I now love the whole album even more for its polarizing and energetic high vibration. I highly recommend this is as the album you go to to lock in when you’re working out, trying to get a job done, or doing anything that requires momentum.

I really enjoy rock and aggressive dancehall and I feel like Rema was channeling* dancehall artists like old Vybz Kartel with sounds like MHMH with Rema's HEHEHE. Whether Rema is in Illuminati or whatever, most of us have no right to judge. I've never had to fend for myself like this before. I've had pain, I've lost a lot of family from 2020 till date, and I'm currently in a bad place yet I had my childhood. Someone else commented about Michael Jackson syndrome and that's a fact. We love to judge these people that grew up on our screens as if we can cope different. From Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez to Justin Bieber and Ayra Starr, the judgement is just too much. Anyway, I think Rema is special and talented, let's just let him cook. Such a unique artiste

I agree with you Except I do like the album, But I was also thinking he took some inspiration from Naruto. I mainly see esp sasuke with the one red eye, in his case he does have crows instead of bats when using the genjutsu(powers of the red eye) But like Rema, idk if you know the series, Sasuke "technically" also lost his brother and his whole family and had to grow up really early + work really hard to achieve his sharingan (the one red eye). I could see how Rema could relate to that. *ps just a thought people, don't come for me pls*
