The women towards the end of the video with the plaid jacket and glasses, who had on the Mejuri jewelry is Samantha Guerrero and she has her own style/fashion channel on KZbin. So funny to see her get stopped/interviewed for her good fashion sense!!😊😅

Love that no two outfits have the same style - pretty much everyone you picked for this video is unique! I hardly have any recollection of what street style was like in Toronto when I visited there 20 years ago so this was a treat!

I love that you talk to the people and find out where every item is from. It's casual but to the point. That's what viewers want to see (I think...I do!). Other street style videos (without interviews) make the fashion seem kind of... intimidating and unattainable. They'll show someone walk by in a beautiful coat or dress but once you notice a designer bag on them you automatically assume "these are rich people who only shop designer" but really some of the best pieces they are wearing are from "regular" affordable stores like Zara, a local shop or vintage market! That's what hooks me! Your videos show that you don't have to wear expensive designer brands head to toe to have a cool, trendy, chic style!! And that's why I think you're channel is going to grow fast and (continue to) be great!! All the best! Olga (from Toronto!) Sorry if I rambled a bit too much...

You're in Yorkville, the richest part of town. You should see what regular, hard working or unemployed people in the rest of Toronto wear
@DoubleVanilla2 жыл бұрын
No I was in Queen West for most of the outfits. And these people can't be hard working? Why would I interview unemployed people? It's funny you say 'hard working' and then 'unemployed people' ... unemployed people are not hard working...that's kind of the point of an unemployed person, they don't have a job. Anyone can get a job, do delivery courier, paint houses, dog walking, there's a million things one can do. This channel is about being aspirational, being inspired (to work hard) and dream of bigger and better things for oneself.
@XYZOxyz2 жыл бұрын
@@DoubleVanilla Why are you so defensive? You mostly interview the rich and ask them about their designer stuff, that's a fact, while the rest of us are supposed to admire their style, dreams, aspiration, blah, blah, blah. Why wouldn't you interview unemployed people, what do you have against them? Are you a snob? As an fyi, most of the wealthy you interview are also unemployed. Why can't unemployed people be hard working? I've been unemployed on more than one occasion and would never consider myself as not hard working. When I said "hard working, unemployed", those are two separate categories, hence the comma. By hard working I meant people working their a** off at this very moment, not people looking for jobs so you're right in that aspect. But do unemployed people go around naked? Can they also not be "aspirational", inspirational, dream big and want better for themselves? People decked out in designer duds head to toe in Yorkville in the middle of the day as a rule aren't terribly hard working, but there's a big chance that they are completely unemployed. Next time don't be a snob, take the feedback/criticism and use it to improve yourself and your channel, don't get defensive and write a novel in an attempt to argue with ordinary people on your channel. Cheers.
@DoubleVanilla2 жыл бұрын
@@XYZOxyz bro. you wrote a novel. not me. I'm not into this woke bs. I was a lazy unemployed person a decade ago and I know all too well how easy it is to just do nothing and suffer in poverty (I don't have family to give me money so I had nothing back then). I'm interested in hard work not showing non aspirational unemployed people.
@XYZOxyz2 жыл бұрын
@@DoubleVanilla I apologize about the novel, but your reply wasn't short or diplomatic either. Interviewing poor people (employed or unemployed) who have an amazing sense of style isn't woke bs. They are creative and inspirational. Being stylish on a constrained budget is much harder than being stylish when you're loaded with money from mommy, daddy, hubby, johns, etc... Just because someone is poor, doesn't mean they don't work hard; in most cases they work much harder than wealthy and unemployed designer snobs. That's all I meant to say in my comment, sorry if I didn't manage to get that across the first time. However you're probably a snob yourself with a political agenda who prefers wealthy and unemployed who peddle overpriced and overrated designer crap.
