You want to get a tub grinder to chop your straw, fair cost but straw intakes will fly up. If I didn’t get a tub grinder in I would leave the straw chopping for an hour to 2 hours spew it out in the pit and load with the bucket the next day.

We always use straw in our feed wagon that we bale chopped with the baler speeds up the feed mixing. Keep up the great video,s Drew

Could be a bad earth wire from your battery on the manitou? Give the negative lead a good clean where it goes to the chassis/engine block.

I think you may be able to increase the maximum load on your weigh scale display above the 7 ton to make life easier, it was easy on our Digistar scales on the Trioliet, I just downloaded the manual for it online.
