Miho the finger plucking bassist is the leader of the pack but sadly she left the band in August of last year and since than the band is in hiatus. This band has a deep catalog and everything they do is great. There is some variety in their style in different songs so there is something for everyone but its all good, top notch sh*t. The winners of the GOLDEN GODS Award in different years and in various categories were such famous bands and musicians as Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Motörhead, Twisted Sister, Ozzy Osbourne, Lemmy Kilmister, Zakk Wylde, Nikki Sixx, Joe Perry, Judas Priest, Anthrax, Slayer, Saxon, Nightwish, Rammstein, Sabaton, Children of Bodom, Arch Enemy. LOVEBITES is a Japanese female power metal band, formed in 2016 by former Japanese heavy metal band DESTROSE members Miho( bass,backing vocals) and Haruna(drums). "Glory to the World" is a song from LOVEBITES' third EP"Glory, Glory, to the World" (March 2021)."Metal Talk" wrote that "Glory to the World" has an uplifting symphonic chorus and a twin guitar section that would make IRON MAIDEN and JUDAS PRIEST envious ! It was nominated "Global Metal Release of the Year" at the 2021 "Global Metal Apocalypse" awards, it finished second! Song "Glory to the World" written in 2020, when the Covid-19 pandemic swept the world, when millions of people began to get sick and die, the world plunged into the darkness of pandemic. People get depressed. LOVEBITES concerts have been canceled due to Covid. The church, the image of Jesus Christ, his bloody palms and forehead (stigmata )are not accidentally present in the MV. This is the group's positive message that deliverance will come and the pandemic will be defeated. In Music Video "Glory to the World" ,it is especially noticeable that Asami (lead vocal) has been studying classical ballet for many years. She came to ballet at the age of two and studied until the age of 18. Therefore, her movements, especially the movements of her hands, are graceful and beautiful.🐺

These ladies are really skilled musicians. Their discography is quite varied and full of excellent songs. Set the World on Fire is certainly cool, but maybe check out The Crudade live next instead. Its very Iron Maiden-esque. Never listened to Lovebites? Where have you been living? Under Ayer's Rock or something? lol... Just kidding.... don't take me seriously. Really though this is one of the best metal bands on the planet at the moment with a rapidly expanding and somewhat fanatical fan base. Despite having only formed five years ago, they have over fifty songs in their repertoire and they're all bangers. This isn't even one of their better songs. The twin guitar attack of Miyako and Midori has few peers anywhere in the world and those blistering dual guitar solos are a band signature. You're going to really enjoy this band.

Yes, they do a lot of power metal, but they also do a lot of really good thrash metal. Do be honest, I (and a lot of other people) think they're actually better live. They're probably my favorite band right now. Great songwriting and perfect execution. I won't give you any recommendations because I'm sure a lot of other people are doing that, but you won't be disappointed with any song. I've been asked what my favorite Lovebites song is, and my answer is, "whichever one I'm listening to." They just don't have any bad one. Btw... Asami, the lead vocalist, has said that the guy in the video represents Jesus reincarnated in the modern world and slowly remembering who He is and what was done to Him. Asami wrote the lyrics, but the music was written by Midori, the blonde guitarist, and Mao, a keyboardist formerly of the band Lightbringer. LOVEBITES frequently collaborates with him. The church, at least the interior, is a real building and not just a set. At least two other Japanese metal bands, Aldious and Galneryus, have filmed music videos there. I've read comments that the church is primarily used for couples that want a Western-style wedding.

Haruna is small ( 4'9") and seems so fragile, but when we hear that drum sound we imagine a giant with a truck driver's body behind the drums. but no, it's "only" Haruna and she is insane good, a 4'9" giant behind drums. Greetings from Portugal 🤘🤘

She is also a trained ballerina with exceptional stage presence. One reactor caller her "Stage General", which is perfectly put. Hard, tight, fast, relentless, effortless and clean, that's LOVEBITES.
