What fish are in the Boynton Beach Inlet?

Welcome back to another incredible video from the Boynton Beach Inlet here in beautiful South Florida. The Boynton Beach Inlet is known for being a dangerous and potentially deadly inlet, but did you know it has a hidden beauty that is often overlooked by many?
The Boynton Beach Inlet is home to both rough currents and Incredible wildlife, many animals use the inlet to traverse from the ocean to the Lake Worth Lagoon and the Intracoastal waterway. The Boynton Inlet is also known as a snapper paradise, primarily home to mangrove snappers, the inlet offers a place for other species of snapper as well, and that makes the inlet a fisherman's friend.
Also known to dwell within the inlet is a plethora of reef fish, Porkfish, Sergeant Majors, Parrotfish, and so many other colorful fish call the inlet their home.
On this particular journey we witnessed our usual number of mangrove snappers and a diverse amount of reef fish as well. Notably, this was also the day we lost one of our cameras while filming in the inlet, which serves as a reminder that while the inlet is beautiful, it needs to be respected as well, and this day served as a reminder that no matter how comfortable I am with this inlet, the unexpected can and will happen.
Not filmed in this video but known to travel into the inlet often: Manta Rays, Nurse Sharks, Bull Sharks, Lemon Sharks, Sawfish, Barracudas, Snook, Tarpon, Large Schools of Bait fish, and So much more.
