Chica isn't meant to actually eat in the first place. The damage she receives from eating is why there are messages explicitly saying to secure food and take all trash out and such so that she can't get it, so that bag is most likely a trash back like all the others she's around all the time.

So in this universe, having something similar happen where he attacked monty instead, isn't impossible. That said, Monty wasn't given his claws until AFTER Bonnie was hurt. The only boys with claws were Freddy, Bonnie and Roxy..

Not confirmed. In fact, the fandom seems to forget that Monty wasn't upgraded to claws until AFTER Bonnie went missing. The only ones who had claws were Freddy (who reminder, had blue claws, which would have had GREEN paint as their base color underneath) Roxy, and Bonnie himself.
