I prefer this piece in it's more simple minimalist version....without the gold pulls. The gold accent can be a gold lamp or vase or brass ornaments. Either way, it's so nice to see this gorgeous walnut wood back to it's original beauty.

Definitely voting for adding hardware....just not sold on the bright, shiny gold. While the paint wash and pole wrap elevated the piece, the gold looks just a tad gaudy to me. Perhaps if they were antiqued/bronzed (different color)...something to mute them a bit, look more upscale.

Hi there Kacha, so far I've never commented on any of your videos, because it' something I simply dont like doing. But I am one of your biggest fans ever since you started being a furniture artist. I saw ALL you videos, I'm following your FB and Insta profiles, as well as your blog and over the years you've been such a huge inspiration. I'm "pimping" furniture too, unfortunately only for either personal use or now and then a piece for a good friend. I live in Germany and it would be near to impossible to do this as a fulltime job, as I would have to pay soooooo much taxes, so I just forgot about it. Loved your sense of humor in this video!!Also loved the fact that the piece was finished back to its natural wood look with unique trim work!! You do beautiful pieces with stencils, but this was a very refreshing change up. I liked the dresser without the pulls, however, if you decided to add them I would use something a little more muted as the ones in the video appeared too bright on the natural looking wood.

Gorgeous and proof that paint is reversible! The wash is the perfect color! This looks very expensive and luxe. It’s beautiful either way, but it’s for you so I vote for the gold hardware. If it’s Kaćha, it’s gold.🌸

Incredible transformation, Kacha! Love the pole wrap idea, instead of cutting and gluing a bunch of wooden dowels individually. I’m in LOVE with this color for the wash. Usually we see washes done it a light color (off white, beige or French linen to look like a white wash), so doing it in a darker color really made that wood grain pop. I was on the fence at first about adding the hardware, but I say keep it. I especially like this style of hardware on MCM pieces. Definitely looks like something that costs $3000.💜

It does look better without the hardware when TV on top of it, it doesn’t put too much attention to it that’s it’s actually chest of drawers, but if the option would be without tv on top of it then definitely with the hardware cuz it’s beautiful.

Most people seem to like the hardware and I agree that it's nice but I prefer it without. I feel like they stand out too much where that style of furniture suits a more minimal look. Obviously though, you do you, as you're the one that's going to look at it every day. At least with you attaching the pole wrap with nails instead of glue, it'll make it easier to remove if you want to change the look again👍.
