When the tire plugs are dried out, try lightly burning them with a lighter before insertion. Works everytime for me!

TwoWheelObsession nice vid mate. I had quite a few of those things in my bike. I have a Kawasaki Ninja 250 and the space under the seat is only very small. I got rid of the crappy tool kit and got a multi tool as well. Small first aid kit, cable/zip ties, bunji strap, portable USB charger, C02 inflater and a flattened coke can to put under my stand if you park anywhere a bit mushy. I liked your head lamp idea and using the zip ties as a tourniquet.

Tire puncture tool works great if you have tubeless tires. Some custom HD's, Metrics, etc have tube type tires. Make sure you have a repair kit that is made for your type of tires. JMHO. Good info. thanks.

I would say, NEVER use those cheap Wally World bungees! they won't hold anything on a moving bike. If you are parked, OK. spend a little coin, get motorcycle straps like ROK. My two cents, based on experience.

I hear ya. I was stranded on Ana Maria Island two weeks ago when the throttle body got knocked out of the boot that goes to the rear cylinder. I was at night, all I had to work with were the suzuki tool kit, a street lamp, and my cellphone LED. The headlamp should have come in handy that night.

I have an '08 Suzuki GSX 650F bought in '09 (My first motorcycle) and have been riding for 6 years, no accidents (knock on wood) and.I carry a lot of the same items that you do, but when I go riding in the Georgia mountains, I also carry a 1 liter fuel bottle in my tank bag. I have ran across 2 Harley riders, one with a flat tire, one with electrical problems (loose battery cable) and a crotch rocket in the mountains out of gas. I haven't had to use the first aid stuff yet, thank goodness. I have seen about 4 of your videos and will be watching them all, since they are great videos. I love your bike and will be considering it strongly when I decide to buy a new one, however the price tag is pretty hefty. Do you consider the price of the bike (price of a small car) worth the investment? I realize you bought it, but I am not loaded with a lot of cash. Keep up the great videos and keep both wheels down. 07

Please never use zip ties as a tourniquet. If you ever have a need for a tourniquet the band you use MUST be AT LEAST 2 inches thick. If it's any thinner the amount of pressure needed to stop the bleeding will cut through the skin and only create the need for further medical attention and possibly another tourniquet
@absolutelynotluna10 жыл бұрын
Zip ties cannot be used as a tourniquet, they're not wide enough.
