I've seen people say that kuku is not a good starting god because he is unsafe. These are all easy gods to start with. Obv merlin is hard to play optimally, but throwing void 1 out there really not that hard

@@b0sslibra he is easy to learn mid mechanics. All of his abilities are straight forward and easy to learn. He may not be as safe as a Janus or something but that ultimate is one big 'oh Sh*t button'

For beginners starting smite just join the SPL it's where you train to play in casual - a moronic pro player

I’d say if anything start with kuku that’s what I’ve recommended there’s a massive learning curve with the Ult but usually if you hit your spit you can hit whirl pool after or just land one or the other he has great damage out put even if you miss everything and hit 1 ability

No, it's not. It's complex, which is great if you want to ramp up your gameplay *as a midlaner*. I wouldn't recommend it as your first pick, but yeah it's great to learn him as soon as possible.

@@chillpengeru Merlin is very forgiving, it has great damage, great spamming, good range, good melee and enough mobility. You can mess up a lot and still do your job. There are mages a lot more punishing to play than him, so he is a good start if you already now the basics of Smite and want to learn the role.

merlin isn’t complicated, most of you guys just haven’t tried him and just assume he’s difficult cause he’s a stance switcher. literally just try him in conq from level 1 and you’ll see he’s not difficult

@@kotykline2242 not compaired with other adcs or even other mages, he has one sorta "extra" mechanic in the sence that u have a certain chain of elements that u should connect to get the maximum use, if im not mistaken is: cold first for slow, fire second for reduced resistences and then void for raw damage...like i said if u just start to play it can be ez-er to pick someone else...

Merlin is easy, Fist mage I played with. His combos are easy to remember. Personally if you're new, I'd start off on guardian class.

In his defense, merlin has really easy wave clead and easy to hit abilities. Beginners will be fine as long as they learn when each stance is best which is not that complicated.
