E87 120d - M3 subframe bushes, B12 kit, front and rear M3 LCAs + tension struts, braided brake lines, stage 2 remap, daily drive and a couple of track days at Brands every year…stage 2 = Miltek exhaust + darkside developments FMIC 220BHP not exactly a fire breathing dragon but an all-rounder

TBH I have the B12 (B8 + Eibach Pro). I do a couple of track-days a year and with the condition of UK roads I think the Birds B1 E87 setup is a better compromise for a daily with a few track days. The F car Birds kit stance looked wrong, it looked like the 911 Rally edition. E87 120d 200BHP/300lb-ft, xHP ZF 6HP19 remap, 1M arms front & rear, subframe inserts, Powerflex rear upper mount bush, Darkside Developments FMIC, Powerflex ARB bushes & Milltek exhaust...

When I had mine I went from B8's & Stance, then B8's & stance plus to B14's. B14's are definitely the way to go with the M140i. I found the stance kits don't lower as much with the B8's, I think I remember a drop of around 10 - 12mm in total with the stance plus and the B8's.

Is the car still comfortable? I've lowered my VXR and it's spine shattering. Put me off lowering springs but at the same time stock ride height is a crime.

Lower not always better. Difficult to get a nice balance

Lowering springs (depending how low you go) on standard shocks will in most cases be a bad ride. Matched springs and shocks 👍🏼 Spend more money for adjustables, dial out what you don’t like. Your standard car is a compromise of handling vs comfort. Whatever you do, you won’t increase the comfort. Performances costs in many ways

Got a pair of VW racing line springs on stock shocks. 35mm drop on my MK6 GTi had it on coilovers before and it's night and day difference! Springs are the perfect balance, get better handling still get the stock type comfort and a more aggressive stance. Was the same case on my MK2 TT lowered on VOGTLAND 35mm springs

LLF RICKY DONT GET THE G900 that turbo will not make the power claimed, that turbo company lied about the turbo and what it can produce I hope you have not gotten it already bro, check KZbin and see for your self a lot of people put that turbo on their car and are very very disappointed with it, they can’t make the power it advertised. The turbine wheel is too small so at high boost and rpm it chokes out and the engine can’t get the air out, might get 650 -680 max. Research for you self bro I hope I’m wrong. Link officially gassed Jamie he got the g1050 and the car can’t even make 700whp but the tuner telling him all sorts of other causes smh why car won’t make any power. Even his builder is disappointed at the out come of that turbo. Google KZbin and see what people dyno when they have it on their cars. Save your self the bucks . But as I said LLF research please don’t make the error that may have and be disappointed.
