It was because of concussions. I was told like 3 or 4 Hopkins back to back got concussions and that's why Hopkins were missing two starters vs Loyola. Don't know how true it is but that was word on the street

Schutt is going bankrupt so team orders can't be fulfilled in the meantime since most schools often have 2 helmets and have a third one later in the year. STX has nothing to do with it but a new helmet should be releasing either in the summer or the fall of this year.

Maverik/cascade and STX/Nike by far owning the lacrosse gear market. The quality of stx gear is really impressive compared to warrior/NB who’s gear quality has really diminished in recent years. If stx comes out with a comfortable Cascade looking helmet, it will be game over and they will dominate. Thoughts?
