I lost my father 2 years ago, Nadia. My father used to call me Nado too. Listening to you remembering your father is so profound. I physically felt a protective shield or a cool cloud which had been shadowing me before is lifted. I felt physically for many days that I couldn't stand right because my support is gone. I felt I could have spent more time with him. I repent for not spending more time with him, listen to his peaceful and soft voice. He cared for me dearly even when I was as big as 34. I miss him checking up on me. Now his house is not the same. Not at all. I am hollow from inside. I never imagined his departure will leave me so empty. And as you said, "ab kuch matter nai karta mujy." His passing took all the glitz and glam from my life. He was my life.
