Sydney shown the line for the future, Russia has to be on the podiums at any cost, always with the excuse with having a higher difficulty despite Vitrychenko and Serrano competing better Kabaeva was favored over they, and Barsukova despite being beautiful won the gold due to the fact that Russia had to win no matter what :/

it was the withthe last year of the old rhythmic and at the same time the beggining of a new dark era ,where diversity on podium and especially gold would never be possible ,a nera we never still revcovered, althought yana and kanaeva gave us a moment to breath,but with twins and sodlatova here we go again with unfair gold medals,let' not even talk about groups..and at the same time the total deaths of a good rivalrly and diversity in ukraine school, if viner is bad,ans she is ,deriugina is even worse becuase she killed the sport development and competiton in her country .it was too the last olympic with an old way to approach this sport ,from the end of that year nothing would have been the same .

@@rhythmicmusicswap4173 I'm not against russian gymnasts winning the titles but doing it when they didn't nailed the performance it's unfair, and this code with open scores gives Russia a lot more of room to use the excuse of having the most difficulties routines even when they do make a mess of program, think the last russian that really dominated the scene, that was a full package was Kanaeva, as od today Selezneva embodies the best compromise of what RG should be, but Viner never would give a shot for her as she deserves it

@@patem7379 indeed ,i'm not agasint russian per se, with kanaeva and kudryavsteva , I had no problem,it was clear they were the best ,as i said it was the only period in wich it didn0t feel as much as fake like durin 200/2008 and now, thanks to he quality of the 2 gymansts(yana was the emboidment of Rio's CoP,no one was clean like her ). As you said too, i dislike balantly favoritism, the problems is that is't not normal nor acceptable finding lot of analysis and no one is abl to exaplin the D of the russian lot of times ,because even if you try to count everything the D is lower than the one proposed by jugdes....et alone the ridicolous E and EA, seeing the twins getting always over 9,and ea deduction of ,3/0,4 it's just unnerving,because we all know that is just no true . i do respect the hardwork of the twins ,of course, but the favorsitm,even with episde like the infamous knot ,or the way linoy got costantly robbed of deserved gold medal it's just too much, as i said it0s like again libing the dak era of kapranova and sessina. with groups,the situation is even worse, the last world ar baku,was just a sick joke ,one that is not funny

@@rhythmicmusicswap4173 I know, it's so sad that these things are getting common, honestly I think Kudryavtseva had a COP very suitable for her, in any other case she wouldn't had shine like she did, but most of the time truth is she earned well her medals, but as time is passing by everybody knows Russia wins are more debatable and unreasonable, I wonder if 🇺🇸 emerging as leading nation towards Los Angeles 2028 would mean a change for the good??? curiously Avrora Vitrychenko will be senior at that time

It was absurd to say back then that russian gymnasts had higher difficulty because we had limited top value. This is the reason for the changes in the last code of points and why the wanted the difficulty score to be unlimited, it basically covers their schemes well but it made the sport nowdays to look even more vague for the fan base.
@dododimitrov9657
@dododimitrov9657 4 жыл бұрын
We know that judging in RG was always bias due to political schemes under the table. The 6 corrupted judges involved in Vitrichenko's case were suspended for 1 year, this speaks alone how hopeless the situation was. Kabaeva ended up 3rd after this horrible mistake, however now Averina will win in Tokyo even if the apparatus leaves the carpet in all 4 routines, because of the unlimited difficulty, questionable judge decisions filling hidden score sheets. RG is the most beautiful sport, but everything under it is ugly and rotten. We still have many people who will not remain silent to injustice and fight to bring truth back to the surface. As one wise man said "not all heroes wear capes", Clementis in my eyes you wear the biggest one. Be safe.
@dododimitrov9657

@t If you mean Averina, for once I am happy I was wrong. But now the russians cry because of corruption on the judging panel, so until they made everything transparent and clear we're facing same dead end situation.

first impotrnat thing. yeah,oh yeah,you are finally back,so happy to see you again,or better your videos . as always so entertenaing and interesting ,2000 was the end of the old era and the silent(not so much) beggining of a new one,a dark era it still not finished. it is the bennining of russian dominance no matter what,ina undeserved way. kabaeva proably at that time.without the hoop mistake she would righlty have won the gold,she was really innovative,but seeing barsukova first with her low difficulty and non existente handling,althought elegent ,just dooesn't still sound right after 20 years ,indeed i consider her theweakest olympic champion in terms of comapriosn with her rivlas . what happened to vitry is just hearthbreaking and unfair ,bessonova is a legend ,but no way she was ready for the olympica at 15/26 years old with tamara and elena in the same team . deriugina totally killed ukrained school's diversity and healthy competition ,it was sadly a point of non return,and now they are paying it with the sow of ebing unable to adapt,to reinnovate their own style ,it still a huge big recycling of 15/20 years old music and routines . ps.where you find euroepan qualfication videos'? I saw only the finals apapratus one

Thank you for your amazing work as always and as a Bulgarian who was very young at the time and only started watching RG recently, for the detailed information about the situation in the country during that era. I do have a slightly idiotic question though - there always seems to be a 6th girl in the groups in the kiss and cry. How does it work? If she's in the reserves, is she supposed to know ALL the "individual" parts of the group routine so she can step in if need be? Thanks!

Hello! I'm so happy to hear this, it really means a lot (despite not being able to translate my work in many language). Groups are allowed to have an extra gymnast to wait outside of the carpet: if one gymnast must leave the carpet for a valid reason (injury for example), the extra gymnast may replace her. PS: to repeat something usual: there is never idiotic question (especially when there is a set of rules of more than 80 pages!)
