I pulled this video up during the credits because - while I had a great time playing - I'm lost as hell. And one of my favorite parts is that even 20 years later, Walter still has a picture of himself and Nora on his desk in two different locations. Nora's va killed it most of her dialogue. She was great!
@hunter1783511 ай бұрын
You forgot to really explain the part where Nora and Walter hopped into an alternate universe. That green light that she floated into was evidently an interdimensional portal, and the reason she arrived 20 years behind Walter was some sort of time dilation effect.

I'll explain Industria for you. Buy Bioshock Infinite at full price. Disable your melee key at the Zealot House. Delete your game right after rescuing Elizabeth. There you go, a full price tag for a buggy mess of 30 minutes gameplay.

That story is just pure nonsense. that idea of library is totally pointless and dumb. Atlas from the beginning has nothing in common with Atlas the army of machines - where did they come from? The game itself is actually quite good, but the lack of coherent idea for the world and all that story crap just drags it down. Also the fact that Brent and Nora never met in person right after he stand few meters away from here, that's simply idiotic.
@phoenixharvesters13737 ай бұрын
The story is not nonsense just because you don't understand doesn't give you the right to call it stupid. I'll explain it to you in short-term so you understand. Walter and Nora who were a married couple created this device called Atlas in the real world. Our world. The Russian authorities were in route to dismantle the machine so Walter took it upon himself to use the machine to prove to the scientists in Russia that it works. Walter got transformed through a portal via the machine to the City called Atlas into the world of the very machine that he and his wife Nora created called Atlas. He became the ruler of that City. He became prideful and allowed the machines to destroy all the humans in that alternate universe. Walter gave his body over to the machine that he created. Then Nora went looking for him and when she found him she suffered the same consequences of their actions by creating this machine Atlas. The robots in the machine were created by Atlas and also called Atlas. Then the machines murdered all the people in that alternate universe and the punishment and consequences to Walter and Nora was to be forever locked into the machine that they created. Their bodies are still tied to the machine but their spirits have become one with the machine called Atlas. In layman's terms Walter and Nora created Their Own Prison that they're stuck in Forever. It's a sad story but that's the consequences of playing with something that you don't understand.

That's because the story clearly isn't finished yet. The game ends with a sequel hook, and given that they've just announced Industria II, we'll hopefully get some more detail and explanation about a few things.

The game is gorgeous and i liked the gameplay a lot, played on normal. But legit having to come to an youtube to even understand wtf is going on is so poor. And don't tell me to read the documents, this game is heavily inspired in bioshock and since bioshock introduced audiologs for exposition no other game should use documents for that ever again. They already hired the voice actors, not having them do audiologs for exposition is just lazy
