Absolutely brilliant game, and I say this as someone who didn't play Arma 3 (well a about 4 hours). The price is also amazing. I'm addicted!

Really hope for an 80s setting game in ARMA4. Flashpoint with modern graphics. As a bonus, 80s-era is an excellent COD-player repellent. :)

As a COD player, I wasn't repelled, hell it beckons me with its setting, now I've been playing since release. Awesome game... I always make a light load out with just M16 and 6 mags no Alice harness, allows me to do a constant spirit for around 20 seconds, something that made me win a 3v1 lol

on one hand i hope they would expand on the lore as it was set up in arma 3 but on the other i want another cold war flashpoint

Yeah I highly doubt that they would make any more lore for this game as Arma 4 is kinda around the "corner". But that would be awesome though. The whole idea behind Reforger is pretty interesting.

It even works on my steam deck right out the gate, didn’t have to mess with the controls either . I did turn down the graphic settings for an even better experience and it still looks very good .

I love this game,modded and vanilla servers.You can play as a team or be like me and play alone behind enemy lines and destroyed Hueys,humvees,jeeps and trucks at their base Spetsnaz style.Its very sandbox and immersive.The enemy proxy chat is entertaining when you are harassing them at their bases

Thats a good suggestion 👍 I personally enjoy modded servers more because personal preferences but I do occasionally play vanilla too.

I play reforger on i5 3570k 1660s on 2k monitor :D had to spend an hour tweaking graphics, 2d scopes 75%res fx upscale on runs decent but some times fps drops from 60 to 40

I play the game every day over call of duty I find a nice server and go . Have owned the game since day one and I'm coming from Arma 3 . So yes it's different fun and irritating all at the same time

@L33kyBa6Z Well I didnt say that. I said that there was a drop in player ount two years ago. You can check that from steam charts. Now the servers are full pretty much always.

There’s nothing wrong with this game , the modded servers the Ukraine and Russian war is the bomb this game is 10/10 sure it has bugs here and there but it’s current state on pc and Xbox is pretty reliable.

I never Play'de modded Servers again . They ruined the whole Game mechanic and the conflict Mode With A.I . Thats why i Play only on powerbit . Pure vanilla

Playing modded servers isn't a fair way to review reforger in its current state. Review it using the official vanilla servers and then jump on experimental. Modded servers are designed and crafted by independent modders, not bohemia interactive.

Well except that the literal point of reforger is the mods. Bohemia has made it pretty clear that their intention was to get modders accustomed to the new tools and engine ahead of arma 4. Reforger was never meant to be some standalone game that's built around it's own original content. It is a tech demo with a huge focus on the modding community. That is the point.

@@HeMan_420 i play reforger official all the time, it adds another level of difficulty as you're having to survive without the modern technology. once you can survive well in official all of the modded servers become very easy to survive.
