WHAT HAPPENED TO BAM? TOWER OF GOD season 2 episde 1 IS ABOUT TO BE AMAZING!! Honestly, I need to refresh my memory with season 1 a bit and you can tell in this video haha. I really do hope you enjoy my reaction! I love this anime and I cannot wait to watch the upcoming episodes.

Baam and Rachel's relationship is not Romantic, rather a parent-child one. Rachel had basically raised Baam. Before the Tower, she's the only person that he had ever known in the that dark cave. Rachel taught Baam how to speak, read and write. Rachel is like his family, friend, god, his world. Baam is mentally a toddler in season 1, you can't blame him why acts that way towards Rachel. It's kinda annoying to hear some people call him simp, they don't know what's the meaning of the word 'simp.' I'm glad you address it before watching the episode.

blame the animators on that one cause in the webtoon their relationship was more like you described it but for some unknown reason they decided to have that weird opening scene in season 1 episode 1 . And now anime only's can't shut up about it

They didn't have a rank *yet* in the last season. They were on the floor of test to determine if they're worthy of climbing. After clearing the floor of test, they become F-rank regulars, so technically everyone at the end of last season became F-rank (beside those who didn't pass the various tests). Then at floor 20, you test to become E-Rank. And then you got D, C, B and A rank regulars and A rank regulars can become ranker if they finish climbing.

I like your style. Bam is loyal, gives people the benefit of the doubt and believes in them. Life teaches us through pain and betrayal that it is foolish to do as such. This is a programmed fear response. Fear keeps us alive, but it also prevents of from experience. Bam is fearless, he will fight the dragon and trust you with his heart. This is why he is an anomaly and baffles all those who live with fear. I am not saying go jump off a cliff we are not all as resilient as Bam, but the day we close our hearts is the day we die. Thanks for taking the time to watch the video and comment! I feel for Bam. I understand the feeling of being betrayed by someone you care for the most. I agree with what you said about Bam being loyal and fearless. Even in season one, he knew he wasn't strong, but he still risked his life to reach a goal that may not be attainable. I'm excited for the new episodes as well! LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!! I can't wait.

Yea its supposed to be confusing when we finally see Bam again. All will be explained in time. Rachel pushing him off definitely sent him down a rough path. I kinda wish they didn't tease his new drip/look at the end of Season 1, because in the comic we had no idea it was him for quite a while. Just know that this is where the series really takes off.

i also want to add that the ranks theyre receiving on the 20th floor are not to be confused with rankers. regulars receive E-A ranks, and once they reach the top they become rankers rankers also receive E-A ranks, until you reach a certain level at which youre just ranked by numbers (top 500 or something)

@@sumsolala the "ranker" part, yeah :D thats also why, in season 1 if you remember, everyone was like "ooh, he's a ranker" when lero ro first came into the test hall, or when they said "how do we beat a ranker" in the tag game against quant And very soon (like 3 ish episodes maybe) you will have another ranker situation, so be on the lookout for that 😎

i dont wanna go into too much detail about what kinda implications this will have for the future of the story, but one thing i can say without spoilers about why bam has powers that anyone wants is that as an irregular, bam is not bound by the tower's rules (mentioned by a few people here and there in s1), which also goes for his shinsu control. if you remember from season 1, when they were assigned roles, the wave controllers made contracts with the floor administrators to grant them the ability to control shinsu on the second floor. when bam met the administrator, he said that "this contract is only a shackle to you", meaning bam could have been controlling shinsu like crazy already (had he had the ability by then), but the contract limited his output

Starting on the 20th floor regulars begin to be ranked. From E to A. Without a rank they can't go up. And you are right, Bam and Rachel relationship was never romantic to begin with.

I don't know why they cut out the line where they mentioned the timeskip. The pink-haired princess says "the boy that came into the tower five years ago". I also have no idea why people are saying 6 years on literally every video, I think it's a large case of someone being misinformed and others spreading it lol. Lovely reaction though, it's nice to see more mature people watching. I'll definitely be following your journey.

Also, Rachel is a literal angel in Bam's eyes. He can't even comprehend that she would do something malicious, so he was probably thinking it was a mistake or accident that she pushed him. We'll get to watch him grow and mature, and eventually understand the true nature of people. It takes time though. Rachel has practically groomed him into being unable to live without her.

Also, I agree I also think he won’t have any hatred towards Rachel. But I’m curious to know how their interaction will be. He does know what she pushed him on purpose, but he wants to know why she did it. That’s my understanding from the last episode of season 1 and the beginning of this episode.

In the promotional trailer for the second season it was mentioned that a 6-year time skip occurred, they should have included it in the anime too. In the manhwa it is mentioned that there was a 5-year time skip in the yuri scene, so between the yuri scene and Wangnan's entry, 1 year passed.
