I think the previous buff on defense items/"tank meta" made the Assassin role a little difficult, especially in late game. Sometimes I encounter junglers using Fighter specific heroes.

Nah...Ass role is still okay. It's just the Nerf on Bene that made her useless especially in the current Meta where mm with inspire is Deadly and wit so many stun effects. Bene passive charge takes a lot of time, Ulti also takes some time to unleash, Damage so low, became squishy.

Many of the which are using jungle emblem demon slayer, the best fighter junglers are Yin, Aulus, Bane, Balmond.. that's what I've seen so far.. and some tanks are in it too.. jungle hylos, akai, baxia..

@@darksidersfan2128 That's wrong, Yin never became meta in the jungle role, Bane fell off a long time ago, Aulus also fell off after the tank meta. The best fighter junglers are Balmond and Barats rn, Paq and Dyrroth are great too but Paq struggles against the tank meta currently.

I love Bene. She can easily kill the backline with her ult, some passives and a first skill, and she's kinda slippery, especially with a well timed second skill. But she doesn't have anything to counter the current meta, unlike Dyrroth who has a 75% defense reduction on his second skill, basically a built in malefic, and a based on enemy current HP ult. So unless they make her skills have a defense reduction or damage based on enemy HP, she has to rely on pure damage to be of any use, which is somewhat bad in the current tank meta.

I use only Dual Axe build for Bene. Vengenace to counter MMs and the rest of my items should be counter items. She has more massive dps and can be as tanky as real tanks thanks to both sustain and immunes. She still however has two glaring weaknesses. Her dash is still too clunky to use sometimes makes it very annoying to try and use and most often times makes it too predictabe. Franco is an annoying semi counter to her. Prevents you from getting to deep for too long and if you get hooked mid-2nd skill you can still be pulled like normal which is the most infuriating things to try and avoid cause tbh its up to luck at that point if it decides to pull you after the dash or not. Overall, she's still a great laner and pusher.

So basically tank meta ripped off every spell vamp hero in this game, Heroes like Bendetta, Lapucard, Yu Zhong can't really do much because too much anti heal and tank heroes destroys you in early game and in late game their mm secures game for them while they have 2 tanks too protect chicken MM.

Same here and I think bene is super under rated, when I play exp they always underestimate my damage in the early game giving me a huge advantage and with continuous harassments to the other lane due to her mobility she can snowball quite quickly. Using benedeta is like using fanny or ling and other fast hand and tower diver heroes. Sometimes, players don't use some heroes because they are scared, they think its not op, you'll die if you tower dive, you'll run out of skills, you'll be killed. I play fanny and ling and they're both energy user. If you play fanny you must not worry and think that you'll run out of energy same in ling if you tower dive (as long as you hit enemy you'll gain energy) . Remember to always use your brain, stay calm and be positive!

She is one of the few heroes I have with decent matches with over +80% wr on her and she’s sooo fun to play xD I can say she’s definitely fallen off time after time of being nerfed to the ground. The last buff on her with +10% more atk for her passive still didn’t rly do much.. also another reason why is that her dmg will rly fall off in late game, once enemies starts using antique cuirass, her skills just tickles you. Altho yes, she’s one of the most mobile assassins, her dmg and hero usage difficulty kinda overshadows her over other assassins that can do way more. But ofc, it’ll stil depend on the user and she can be quite scary in the hands of a pro bene user. Maybe a good overall buff on her dmg or maybe lower skill cd might bring her back but thats just my opinion :3

I think there's a lots of reasons why benedetta is being forgotten: 1. The guy with three balls. He tanky,has sustain,high dmg,has blink.Basically bene's nightmare 2. New offlaner heroes that has high dmg,tanky, has sustain. Bene can rarely do dmg to them 3. WoN + Inspire combo. Mms that usually bene's prey has become her worst enemy. WoN makes her skill useless to them while inspire makes them heals back to full hp.(remove the inspire bruh it's annoying) 4. Heroes with alot mobility. Most of the new heroes has alot of mobility and they are used very often.Bene skills is really easy to dodge.(even mms has high mobility bruh) 5.Difficulty is too high. Her skills barely make dmg in early game now(only high to mm,mages).her base movement sucks and her skill has very high cd.if you miss two skill your basically good as dead. All of her skill have delay. She can barely catch and deal dmg to high mobility assassins. Plus, she has no dmg if you build too much def.but, she needs Def to go to the backline. She has to tank the mms dmg to get to them not to mention the dmg from mages. To simplify: she bad in jungle,midlane.hard to play on offlane,sidelane.(yes,she is balanced but the new heroes needs big nerfs or not she will never be picked). This is base on my opinion. I really thinks she needs more buff new heroes are too op

I remember when her first skill literally melts everything.....but rn her dmg is very underwhelming for a hit and run tactics..... currently its all about how long you can survive in the teamfight....yes a good benedetta can just immune income cc and dodge dash every skills...but when the combo is done she doesn't have anything to do at this point for a sidelaner its better using a proper fighter....and a proper burst hero or a proper tankiest(baxia hyper) hero as a jungler

I think she's one of the most talk about and 'famous' heroes even before her release on the original server, same with Ling. The difference is, Ling continues on being famous and is still dominating in the Land of Dawn while Benedetta is straying away from the spotlight because of her nerfs. Fun fact:the adjustment she got is actually a nerf, usually benedetta ult was only like 13 seconds with my 30% cdr build plus my lvl 60 amblem so basically 40% cdr and the extra damage she got was barely anything, made her farming so much harder only

Actually Ling isn't really always dominate from the first day of his release. There was a time when Lancelot, Roger, and Yss would be a much better pick than Ling and they would literally wipe the floor with Ling when they go head to head on the battlefield. So he isn't always being famous and dominate. But yeah, i agree he isn't really completely forgotten like Bene.

@@seeker599 I also have trouble chasing down wanwan. I usually try to engage on high mobility enemies by catching them inside Benedetta’s ultimate then unleash all skills and passives. If I’m not sure I can kill enemies without getting too deep in the enemy team’s area, I try to reserve my 2nd skill to escape and dodge some skills. I mostly rely on teammates to stun or disable wanwan to have a clean kill. I just deal whatever damage I can and then I’m outta there lmao.

I think there are 2 simple reason why benedetta is rarely used at all 1. She's one of the more difficult assassins to use in the game, but she lacks the damage to really burst the enemy instantly (high skill, but not enough reward) 2. Lance revamp basically made him a better benedetta that's easier to use, and has better burst capability

We're thinking the same. I don't get why her specialities are "chase/burst" instead of "chase/reap" or "chase/damage". Her skills and passive are currently more like AoEs than burst type. reason why benedetta became less popular is due to lancelot, which is basically a better and "easier to use" compared to her tbh. Before the buff on lance 1st skill, benedetta still had viability due to lance mains doing the zigzag dashes on minions which takes skill, but when they made it so all targets don't get the mark (which is a good thing), it made benedetta the harder one to play than be on equal footing with lance. (Both have immune). Of course you would count wanwan as another reason to why bendetta sucks since she has to hold a damn button while wanwan just aims her dashes (harith and benedetta will not be picked tbh if they don't nerf how easy it is to dash with wanwan) Also forgot to mention antique cuirass, while she gets hard countered by it, lance doesn't get affected that much compared to her, so that's also a reason.

The reason she's slowly getting forgotten is because of the new Tank meta. Some assassins actually started to go forgotten as well, such as Bene and Aamon, they don't really have something that can deal more damage (like Lance or Karina Passive) or Armor Reduction (like Saber and Harley). Bene is also a skill dependent assassin, making her unable to use item passive that can usually counter tanks, like Demon Hunter Sword (examples that can use it are Ling and Helcurt.) So she can't really burst th Tanky heroes, and because she's squishy, she can be bursted down easily, even tanks can burst Bene with new item passive buff. Also I do think Bene is more suited as a fighter now. She can sustain more with hybrid build but can no longer burst enemies.

When I started playing MLBB, Benedetta was my fave A-Tier assassin next to Lance. I witnessed (regardless of being offlaner or jungler) how she can crush enemies in just one fatal combo. Lancelot on the other hand had some nerfs along the way and made it seem like easier to counter. The thing with Bene is that with just the right timing, positioning, map awareness, precision and fast hand reflexes, she has the capability of a relentless assassin. Her endless mobility, 2nd skill stuns/immunity and an ultimate so deadly once you're caught off-guard, there's no escape.

I think it's also because of her being skill dependent, like she deals what a marksman can do on early game when she doesn't have her skills. She's also pretty hard to use since her skill are pretty hard to aim if you're not experienced at all. Other than that she's pretty solid because she can snowball the enemy with a boosted basic attack 1-2

I think a good buff would be for her ultimate. Enemies who are in the range of her ult should lose a percentage of their physical def upon every attack on her ult. The tank meta gave many assassins a disadvantage. However, there are some assassins with skills that either reduce physical def (Zilong, Saber or Harley) or those with increased damage (Haya, Hanzo or Lance). I think Bene definitely needs a skill like this.

For me who was previously a bene main. My main problem with her is that she is a little too difficult for me to play because I just don't have enough consistency, game sense, and general skills. Though she did make me mythic once, I haven't played her since because the other heroes are generally better than her based on my experience. The other problem I have with her is my recent lag issues making it harder to consistently hit her skills and deal damage. Now, I don't play ML much these days because of other stuff. But now that I watched your video, I would try to play other heroes that I've forgotten about in my hero pool.

I currently have 360+ matches and 64% wr in bene playing solo rank. She was so strong the first two season from her first release. I remember always invading enemy blue buff and I could withstand even 2 to 3 enemies alone (mostly midlaner opponents) It's almost guaranteed that either I kill one or I steal blue buff or both then escape as a level 2 bene. Also, she had great comeback potential. No matter how much you gap bene, she could always keep up with farm and kills. Nowadays, I really don't use her anymore bcz honestly it's now very weak as an assassin, as a jungler, and has very low damage but sustain is still the same. Her ult damage is almost non existent. Back then it's a guaranteed half health. Also, I believe her first skill had 3-4 secs cooldown w/c you could spam in teamfight and towerdives. tips : due to nature of bendetta skill that increased dmg by percentage instead of flat point she still dealt high damage eventho you used sustain item i basically go yolo full tank item and still win my lane and dealt pretty decent 50k dmg total in 12min

Benedetta was a fun concept with the theme of fast complex maneuvers and such. But her playstyle is so chunky she just feels like a chore. Something other assassins like ling were successful at!

You know what? This will be the fate of Revamped Vexana. She's weak now after a series of nerfs , and take note she's still in advanced server. I've been playing her revamp in advanced server since day 1 or her release. I'll admit she's too OP at first but after heavy nerfs she's starting to be her old self. Less and less damage. Expect more nerfs on the official server. Damn.

I think the high skill ceiling it needs to master her passive also plays a factor. Its also quite easy to mess up the timing of when she can dash. If the timing is a bit more lenient I can see her being picked more.

Her problem is that she is the assassin with the slowest burst in the game All her skills are slow and her ult only effective as a disturbing tool other than that its easy to dodge I think they should give her some defensive stats to compliment her offlane role cause she is not an assassin

I think Benedetta need just some minor buff and new passive Like buffing her dash by lower time needed to refill the dash And a passive where enemy gets bleeding effect like argus one or where u cant heal once u are inside her ult These small twicks wont make her too overpowered but will make her useful in current meta

(As a Benedetta main), The main reason why she's unpopular RN is because of the Nerf on her (late game damage) and a lot of heroes can easily escape her, and 1 thing that annoys me the most is the way her "skills" work like elgin said compared to other assasin her Skills are not a 1 shot combo MM's can easily counter her skills using (Wind of nature) :/

I think its tied to her damage being heavily tied to her ult (which is very hard to hit btw, especially in 1v1s situation). A good buff to her would be to add Enhanced basic attacks everytime she dashes. The nerf, of course, should be reduced ult damage.

I think the main reason is her frame locks and having nigh or negligible dmg to the current meta with tankier heroes and junglers. She either dies while trying to complete her combo or gets cc'd to death during her frame locks.

After her little buff, I started to use benedetta again as an offlaner or roamer with a petrify spell. I changed her build from semi-tank into pure damage with one sustain item. It's really effective when you use your ult and petrify the enemy. Only need some timing and positioning in order to do the deadly combo.

As an alucard and benedetta main..using benedetta has never been a problem..she had a good amount of skill and she can use it to chase and retreat..benedetta is a risky hero cause as you said if the skills is not on point basicaly she have to either retreat or use her passive to kill...but to me even on benedetta's releasing i mastered her in short amount of time you could say my specialty is a risky hero..alucard is as risky as benedetta in team fight but i specialy pick him in a fight that has small amount of enemy stun...but if enemy has a lot of stun benedetta is a more of choice for me...

A tip with Benedetta is that when you catch people (or even minions) with the ult each hit fills up ur passive dash, so when that happens you should just start dashing like crazy, it deals more damage

Well it's mostly because of the recent shift in meta, the meta has shifted towards more tanky lineups with the only squishy heros being the mages and marksmen. However, the most popular mages right now generally have either immunity abilities, high mobility or they could just use sprint and you'd never be able to catch up to them, and markmen having high damage while also having enough defense to survive bene 1v1s. It's not that benedetta is bad, it's just that she's not fit for the current meta similar to Hayabusa.

I think one of the previous nerf that affect benedetta the most is her defense and lifesteal was lowered, unlikely way back in MSC. She can 1v5 because of the lifesteal she get and her high defense and easy to use dash. As I can see, its hard to use the dash now because they added a few mili-seconds.

for a mythic tank main that quit this game for 3 years and now coming back and need to climb from grandmaster. I can say that i pick her almost everytime i need to be the jg. She s op in team fight, op in chasing and her 2 skills allows her to block everything. Just stay calm when you are in 1v5 and you can get easy savage.
