You guys must be wondering why there is any footage of meals offered in this flight showed in this Vlog. Actually meal was offered but I refused to accept the meal.
Flew from Manila to Hong Kong in their flagship A330-300 but was disappointed as I was only offered one choice of meal in the flight that too non vegetarian pork yes crew said this Is the only choice eat it or leave it.
I was told i should have booked meal in advance but Cathay being full service airlines according to my understanding should serve at least two choices of meals. What about if a passenger is vegetarian?? After complaining for so long after nearly reaching Hong Kong I was offered another choice chicken rice.
I was shocked and refused to accept it. This means they were carrying another choice of meal but refused to serve it to passengers and was asking everyone to eat one choice.
Let me be clear it is not the mistake of crew they were doing what they were told to do and were very pro active and did their job professionally.
So anyone is travelling on this route with Cathay I suggest to book there choice of meal in advance wish I knew it before.
This is purely my personal and honest opinion.
Besides this above flaws Manila amazed me after I visited shopping malls and BGC and High street in Metro Manila I was really impressed how diverse the city is and has lot to offer. Enjoyed some good food and drinks. It was a Fun short trip.
