I had missed her set too the first time seeing her in concert and was stuck with a boring Norah Jones concert. I got my redemption and eventually saw her again up close in concert (front row!). Was able to meet her and take a pic with her. Such a beautiful soul she is.

She really is the music of my teens. She would come over to my house and record the demos of songs like ‘Like A Star’ with my dad in the garage which my dad and converted into a mini recording studio. I never got to meet her tho I would hope I could every time she was over, but it never happened 😭

I love Corrine’s music. “The Sea” is a good album, sort of depressing sound compared to debut (I’m guessing due to death of first husband).I’m glad she’s found love/happiness again.. My all time favorite track is “Enchantment” from first release. She has a lot of slept on songs, love duet with legendary Herbie Hancock as well, best of luck to Corrine. Can you please do Norah Jones?

The Sea is such an under appreciated album!! There are melancholic songs, but songs like "Feels Like The First Time, "Paris Nights/NY Mornings, "The Blackest Lily," "Closer," & even "Are You Here" are more upbeat and happier songs off the album

Man her sophomore album “The Sea” is one of the most beautiful bodies of work. Such a shame all the hardships she was facing during the time of making it. Her song “Are You Here” was written for her deceased ex- husband who had overdosed and died a few years prior to the albums release. One of the most heart wrenching songs.
